So many wonderful things to see ☺️. Be sure to get over to the Studios for the Osborne Family Lights... this is the last year they will be at Disney ???? They are absolutely beyond spectacular!
If being at Disney doesn't put you in the holiday spirit you have to be a real Scrooge LOL

Substitute boobs for ears and you got me ????

Like everyone else said....quit comparing with others and stop cheating. If you follow the program you won't have to weigh to know you are losing. Track NSVs instead of numbers. They are more important anyways.
Celebrate what you have accomplished, don't get caught up in the WLS race. You have the rest if your life to get where you want to be. It's not gonna happen in a few months. I had "only" lost 17 pounds at 12 weeks out (that was only the 6th time I had weighed myself postop) and I was thrilled. In the end, I lost over 100% of my excess weight, and the scale had nothing to do with it.

For sure. In fact, fat people are experts at this!
I lost over 100 lbs 3 times in my life... and gained it back. Because in the end the hunger will get you. No way could I live on that limited caloric intake long term... it might take time for it to return but the weight always came back. I'm 5'0" and 63 years old. The number of calories I need to maintain a healthy weight is really quite small. The sleeve takes the deprivation out of he equation.
I am 10 months out and the hunger has returned though not nearly as bad as pre-surgery. I am full on much less and provided I choose wisely I stay full longer.
Listen to BLERDgirl! She is a pro when it comes to really getting the maximum benefit from surgery. ???? You lose and maintain weight the same exact way post surgery as pre surgery: eat less, move more. But for me it is the surgery that makes this possible.

Bad news...I can't get google docs to load so we are going to have to do this the old fashion way of just checking in once a week (Tuesday's). If anyone has Google docs and wants to volunteer to keep track you're welcome to but I know it's a lot of work and for those doing Stephh's Challenge too, let's do this! We are all here to support one another!

No it won't stretch you stomach. Next time start with just 1 egg. I was full on 1 egg made with a tiny bit of cheese and greek yogurt to keep them moist for a really long time.

So exciting!!! We actually have really never been there/stayed there. I went to a theme park one day when I was about 15 and my husband has never stepped foot on a Disney theme park. We are very excited!!! I'm glad to hear it's great at the holidays!!!

One other word of advice. Change your language. It's a mental thing. A diet is temporary. While the various phases you go through as you resume regular eating may change this is NOT a diet. This is relearning to eat in a healthier manner.

Protip to the OP: This forum could be a big help to you in the coming months. So try not to piss off everybody in your first dozen posts here -- no matter how frustrated you're feeling at the moment. Nobody here actually owes you anything. It's the Internet, remember?

I agree. You should eat what you want when you want. It's not fair for your doctor, the surgeon you entrusted your life with, to expect you to follow a diet that will help you lose the most weight you can safely, efficiently while allowing your body to heal properly.
This was the easy way out, after all. One should be able to have surgery and *BOOM* lose the weight without the work.
Good luck to you! I am sure you are going to get exactly the right results!

Actually, you can bash me, too.
My doctor is affiliated with a research hospital and has a long track record of highly successful bariatric surgery. That's why I chose her.
I followed her protocol for supplements. At 3 months my blood work was perfect. She said I could go back to my Multivitamin which I've taken for years. She does not treat sleeve patients the same as bypass. According to her, research shows that provided the sleeve patient is following a balanced eating plan they do not exhibit the Vitamin deficiencies that bypass patients do. So I take no special supplements.
My 6 month blood work was perfect. If there is ever an issue, she said it would be addressed when presented.
At 10 months out, down 88 lbs, I feel fabulous and have more energy than I've had in years. My hair hasn't fallen out and my skin is great. No supplements from month 3 has not caused me any problems.
Here's the deal. I trust MY doctor. I listen to MY doctor. This is a discussion forum. I can read what others do and find it interesting. But in the end I follow what MY doctor tells me. If your doctor is telling you to take supplements... and most do... then take them.

Thank you for the kind words!
The letter stated it was the final appeal for the medical provider. I'll try calling and escalating though. They have to provide me more info so I can appeal. I can't imagine they wouldn't cover the stents and all that entailed, but they covered the visiting nurse and antibiotics when I was released after all that? It just doesn't make sense.

@@agalindo17 Mine said the same thing. I had to take them in the beginning but it's not necessary once I started eating more "normal". We check my labs every few months and they are perfect. I do take them sometimes just to take them.
