  1. Avilla I am going to beat you with a spoon. You can use daily weigh ins to tell your real weight. Don't expect to change your eating habits for one day to make a significant diffrence on the scale the next day ......and maintain it. Daily weigh ins I think are cool but weekly weigh ins may tell you a better story. Just don't stress yourself out, remember to take your measurements.


  2. I am now at 390. I lost 3 pounds last night. YEAHHHH ME!!! I want to see that 388 again. I WILL SEE IT NEXT WEEK!!! I know what to do and I am going to do it.

  3. Somebody stick a needle in my side...quick. I need a fill, yesterday. Ok I have enjoyed all the junk I wanted hummm:rolleyes: , well I didn't get that steak and cheese yet. I still have time, I'll do that this weekend.:) Oh uh yeah, I uhhhh need that fill. yep

    I have to say I am feeling pretty good. I got my eyebrows done yesterday and needed to go to a store just a few stores away and I walked. In the past, I would jump in the car with no hesitation. I am truly pleased with getting the band and becoming more active.

    Tonight is weigh in and I am excited, pray for me. I would love to see that 5 pounds gone but I just don't know. I keep saying it but when I get my scale oh my goodness, I just may have to bring it to work with me. I am below 400 pounds.

  4. I am happy with my exercise this weekend. Friday night we went downtown and walked but it was dark and did not stay long. LOL I don't know how the tourist do it. I walked bright and early Saturday morning at HP and came home picked up my child and went over to the track and did 1 mile there. Sunday I got up early again and was at the park by 6:15.....walking.....came home and did the laundry. I got my 10,000 steps both Sat and Sun.:Dancing_biggrin:

    I don't know what I am going to do this evening but the exercise thing is addictive.:) Ha Ha 20 miles so far this month and today is the 10th. yesssss I will pass that sad 25 miles for the month of June today.

    I have Take The Challenge tonight and weigh in tomorrow. :clap2: :clap2:

  5. I am in such a good mood today, right now. LOL I got excited in the MD Forum writing about my walking and that the weekend is here and that I WILL BE WALKING THIS WEEKEND.....!!!!!

    My daughter put in the WAP tape and I put on the radio and we walked and danced for 45 minutes. We did almost 3 miles according to the tape but 3 according to my pedometer. LOL I was having a ball and my daughter was laughing at me while she was walking. I was wet and my hair was soaked when I got through. It felt so good just to be working out. It was gorgeous outside yesterday and I should have gone to the park but I did not so this was better then nothing.

  6. You go Ali, keep doing what you are doing and one day while you are walking you will realize that you walked more then you had before, effortlessly. I am so surprised with myself that I CAN, actually able to walk for 1 hour or 3 miles and not literally drop dead or at least cry. LOL Seriously, I was scared to go walking initially because I didn't want to fail. I think I can say I love to walk now. I do, I love to walk. Thank you Ali and keep up all the great work and keep on walking. Walk while commercials are on, take that extra walk to the kitchen to get another cup of water, take that extra walk upstairs to get something. It all adds up.

I'm going to get on it in the morning before I pee then after I pee, after I get dressed, when I get home before I pee and after I pee, after I drink some water, after I eat something, whenever I go to the bathroom, with diffrent clothes on, shoes on and off. he he he he he

  8. I had my gallbladder removed many years ago and I can't rememer the pain after surgery but I do remember the pain before I knew what the problem was.

    Only 21 days away from being banded, that is excellent (Yeahh) Don't stress about food you will get through it and it is temporary. The first few days you won't even want food and as time goes on you will see your weight going down and you will realize it is better to look good then to eat crap you are craving.

    Also, don't wait to start exercising, start now, today, yesterday. A little goes a long ways. Check out the exercise threads and start posting what you are doing.

  10. Don't worry about other folks at work. I that it can be motivating for others to know. Even the ones who are negative, they make you want to succeed and show them that you have done this for the best you ever.

    Girl the scale can keep you in control of your weight. So for now, jump on it. I'm just jelous that I don't have one. LOL
