Mine is June 18th I'm so excited

I was the exact same way. Just know once you do the scope (and it's VERY easy) the surgery feels like a breeze

I was sleeved on Tuesday. I turned a corner this afternoon and I'm finally feeling better! Now I just have to figure out how to get my Protein in... My new tummy seems to be pretty picky about what it will tolerate... So far, the shakes are a no go

mine is also on the 18th. Can't believe it's just a little over a week away.

My surgery is on June 18th...been on 2 week liquid pre-op diet for 3 days now and doing a lot better than expected. Im so excited to open a new chapter in my life book!!

I'm looking for a group of people who will be having sleeve surgery in the next 2-3 weeks to share the journey with! I just turned 30 last month, and I am really looking forward to this huge life change. I'm 5'7 and currently at 294 (down from 332 when I first visited my surgeon 2 months ago). I'm just ready to feel better, and have more energy to be a more lively mom to my 9 year old nephew!

Had my final food funeral tonight of nachos. Tomorrow I start my preop liquid diet.< /p>

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for buddies that are having thier surgery close to mine or on the same day. So we can go through the up and downs. I am open to anyone (male or female). I am tall 5'8" and have a great family (2 daughters and awesome hubby). I am 35.
So ready for my surgery on Thursday the 12th.

Good Evening all! I had my surgery this morning. I awoke to great of gas pain, but no other pain. No nausea and no vomiting. Walking is definitely the key. I have walked every hour on the hours since 2 hours after surgery. I have even managed to finished off two 20 oz bottles of Water and 16.9 oz bottle of propel zero!!! Feeling great. They just weighed me and I'm up 7 lbs from all the Fluid. It just means I'm not dehydrated!! :-). Good luck to the rest of you!!!

How have you prepared your spouse? This is going to be a lifestyle change for them. I have read every thing I could get my hands on and feel prepared, but..I have a feeling he is just not understanding how big of a lifestyle change this will be.
