  1. Awesome Job, keep up the good work! I weighed in at 201 this morning, I am not far behind you. I cannot wait to get into onederlands.
  2. Good luck and I am sure you will do great this time!
  3. I have to agree with 2muchfun, I thought the weight was going to just come off. From May to June I only lost 1 pound. But it is ok. Just remember to follow your doctors instructions, and do not be afraid to call your doctors office.
  4. I started working out about a month after surgery, with my doctors permission. I started with walking and slowly built myself up to jogging. Make sure it is something that you love to do. I love to unwind at the end of the day with a 35-45 min jog with my dogs.
  5. 07/09/14 - 201, no weight loss but I was on vacation and didn't gain
  6. I think 50 pounds is awesome and congrats on that! If you want more you have to do more. I exersize 5-6 times a week. Even if it is just 40 minutes a day it helps. Good luck with the rest of your journey!

  8. I do desk work as well and I took a total of 6 days off. I hope this helps and good luck with your journey.
  9. I started working out slow. I was walking in my backyard (I have almost 10 acres, and have a track). I now jog almost everyday. I feel very sluggish if I do not workout. I also have a fitbit and love it. Everyday I strive to hit 10,000 to 12,000 steps. You just have to find something that you like doing, if not you will not continue to workout. Best of luck to you.
  10. Awesome Job!! What a great way to start off a Friday!
  11. You cannot always go by the scale. Make sure you are taking measurements as well. I measure myself about every 3-4 weeks. When you are working out you are gaining muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. There are a lot of people that do not even weigh themselves till they go to the doctor. Just keep your head up and you will be fine.
  12. I want to say the bad gas lasted 4 to 5 days. It hurt so bad, and I know it is different with everyone. You will get through this I know you will. Best of luck on your new adventure.
  13. I have had hair loss as well. I use the Nioxin shampoo and conditioner and it seems to be helping me. My hair was to the middle of my back and this last weekend I got it cut to my shoulders. It was just so thin and getting it cut it seems thicker. Good Luck!
  14. Awesome job! I am almost there myself. Keep up the good work!
  15. I had a NSV yesterday, usually when I go jogging I usually have to walk for a small amount and then start jogging again. I do that about every 10 minutes. Well yesterday I jogged for 40 minutes without walking. I was so proud of myself. I also had the undies issue a few weeks ago. I was wearing a size 10 at the time. I was changing into another outfit and my husband started laughing and said I needed to go shopping. They were so big on me and I didn't even notice. Wearing size 8 now.
  16. Awesome, you look good on it!
  17. Mine tells me the same thing everyday. I eat anywhere from 900-1000 calories a day as per orders. So I just ignore that when it comes up. Best of luck to you.
  18. I want to let you know it is ok. Last month I only lost 1 pound and the doctor told me it was ok. Stressing over it will make it worse. Also make sure you are measuring yourself. Sometimes you will see inches come off before pounds.
  19. I am excited because it is FRIDAY, and I get to sleep in tomorrow morning. I hope everyone has an awesome weekend!
  20. I want to say that mine lasted about a week. It was really bad the first couple of days and then lightened up. I hope you start feeling better soon.
  21. I went with the lap-band for the same reason as many others here, I still have my insides. I wanted something that can be reversed if needed, but I absolutely love it. There are two women that work right next door to my that had the bypass done. Yes they have lost a lot of weight, but they do not look healthy or happy. I did research before I picked the lap-band and I talked with my doctor as well. You are going to have the people tell you what you should do, but you need to choose what you want. All WLS are high risk, I just picked the one I felt was less risky. Good luck with whatever road you travel. As long as you give 100% you will have great outcomes.
  22. I lost 15 pounds in the 2 week liquid diet. Good luck on your journey.
  23. That is awesome! You are doing great, keep up the good work.
  24. I went with lap-band because I did want to have them take part of my stomach out. I am luck and did not have my doctor tell me know. He understood why I wanted the band and respected that. It is your decision and your life, do not let someone else decide for you. Good luck!
