      Congratulations!

  2. Down to 160, only 10 lbs away for my goal weight! I run an average of 20-25 miles a week, play tennis twice a week and maintain a very active lifestile! Life is good, and I could not be healthier!

  3. Down to 164, which is only 14 lbs away from my goal weight - Have ran two half marathon in the last 20 days, and I have never felt better in my entire life :)

HI There bormannk- I hope you are doing well!! I just saw my surgeon this week and so far I'm about 90% approved- trying hard to not get too excited though. I'm ok for either procedure so I'm still deciding. I need a scope first to see what level of GERD I already have. Then it's just the last part of the insurance. The office feels I should know my Tues. Praying for a positive outcome! The doctor felt I could realistically get back to my HS weight of 130 since I do workout so much regularly anyway!! Patiently waiting and praying :)

  5. 7 months out, but my last month was a stall month. Been running a LOT in the last 6 weeks, so although I want the scale to catch up, I know I am on the right path, so just hanging in there...

stalls are so discouraging/terrible - grrrrr - but don't let them get you too down - they will eventually be gone -you sure are on the right road - have you taken your measurements lately, if you aren't losing weight, sometime the measurements go down - this too shall pass

keep up the good work - kathy

Thanks Kathy, they certainly are. I am ok since I know I am doing well for my health but you know, the scale seems to be the ultimate reassurance! I do appreciate your support! It's much needed! :)

You know you lost weight when

When your 90 lbs Lab can sit with you on a recliner that barely used to fit your butt 6 months ago! When you get a Large Jawbone and realize you could or ordered a medium band! When you open your closed and all of your recently purchased blauses are really too big now.. I am extra grateful today

You know you lost weight when

Gosh I know... Its awesome, yet expensive! I am officially a 8 - 81/2 - a whole shoe size lost..
  8. Stall broken, two 5 Ks ran in two days and I just got my Up24 in the mail. It's starting to look at lot like Christmas!!

  9. Just broke my first real stall :) Back to losing and loving the experience! Cheers!

    Single ladies! Dating?

I just can't seem to do well with the online dating, although it makes sense. I am not necesserely looking for a relationship, but just to get out there, since I haven't dated in about 5 years... yeah.. LOL The whole dating scene freaks me out - but I am totally ready to take the leap, take chances and reconnect with a part of me I haven't connected with for a minute.. And I do believe I would prefer something light and casual and not to dive into a major relationship. Gotta relearn how to bike before you enter the tour of France!
  11. Ran a 5K on Friday (As training) then a 5K plus 1 mile warm up - That was probably too much, but I love that I was able to! Still stuck at 196 lbs... Ai ai ai..

  12. I am stuck at 196 for over a week now, but I did started going to the gym a couple of weeks ago.. I JUST RAN MY FIRST 5K :) WOOT WOOT!
