  1. Thanks Jennifer! I agree with what you said. I am seeing a therapist and it is helping. I was on wellbutrin but it made me not have any emotions. So it's been a tough battle but I am making it through. Life changes and sometimes its for the best and I will have to work through it the best I can and know how. I need to try and journal all my things too I think it may help. I am just not an organized person and just don't keep track with things like that. That is one of my downfalls I need to work on. It will come in time with patience and practice. Thanks for your kind words! Angie
  2. Awesome! Keep on truckin and you will find your success! The lapband is a lifesaver. Angie
  3. nevermind took it off. That was too big!! lol
  4. Absolutely Terrific! You are beautiful and an inspiration to me! How did you keep that motivation up? Give me some tips girl you look awesome! Angie
  5. OMG make me smaller please!!!!! lol
  6. Wow, I can't believe a year has past and all that has came with it? To look back at how I felt and how I looked is amazing of the turn around I have accomplished. I am 50 pounds lighter and feel absolutely amazing, sexy, sure of myself and I know for a fact it is only going to get better from here! I was able to put on a size 12, cross my legs, sit on the floor without dying with leg cramps, being able to run and play with my children and not feel like I am about to pass out after 2 minutes. I get compliments all the time and I am told I look like I am in my 20's.. <SHHH, I will be 35 in Aug!> This lapband is my lifesaver! If I wouldnt have gotten it I am sure I would develop diabetes, and not have this happiness that I do for being lighter on my feet. Anyone looking at this and contemplating on getting it, dont hesitate. This was the best decision of my life. It is only going to go up from here. I have met some wonderful people on here also. I have to give a shout out to all my girls on the NC thread! You rock and you are the best support system I could ever ask for! I love you! And others that I have met on here from other states you are awesome as well. If I ever have a question, or I need someone to talk to you are here. In this year I have lost my grandmother, my gallbladder, and my DH, thru seperation. It has been tough and I havent lost since December but I think I am starting to get some strength and I am wanting to continue this lapband journey I started a year ago. God bless you all! And HAPPY BanDiversaY TO ME!!!!!
  7. Awesome thanks! What would I do without you all!!! Angie
  8. wow melissa I am sorry to hear this. I wish people could act civil and just leave other's alone. Why do they feel the need to act this way is beyond me. You will be fine and everything will work out it is just feeling violated. I had mine stolen a couple months back, thank goodness nothing was done to my accounts yet and I caught it in time. Have fun on your trip girl and dont think about this. I know it will be hard to not too but try. Hang in there! Angie

  12. Hello Everyone, Today is my one year Bandiversary and what a year it has been? I have lost 50 pounds and lost my husband all in the same time frame? <sigh> I miss him but to tell you the truth I think this was the best for both of us. I am happy I have lost what I have and I did all that in the first six months. But after that its been a very slow going. I need to get a fill and need to focus on my health again. I am motivated to do this and will start soon. Cant think of any NSv's right now but will think about it and maybe post back. I am off to bed! Good night! Angie
  13. That's awesome! Hi Courtney, LTNS!!! Small world huh? Angie
  14. Awesome News JILL! I am so happy for you!!! CONGRATS!!! Angie
  15. For some odd reason I was turned off by food. Even when my husband cooked it made me feel sick to my stomach. Just the smell of food made me nauseaous. I think that helped me get by without the food for sometime. Then when I was able to start eating again that went away. The two weeks for me was easy because food just didnt sound good at all. I wish that was the case now. Jeepers! LOL Angie
  16. Thanks so much Dianne. I need to really focus on me and really work on ME! I need to stop dwelling on things and make sure I am putting the right things in my mouth. <which right now I just had some peanuts and chased it down with some chocolate milk> <sigh> It will get better I know. I just need to get my mind back on what I need to do and change it for the better. I am flattered to know I was an inspiration to you and whoever else. I was so focused and so in tune with how to eat and how to exercise and I totally lost it. I feel like I need to go through the surgery again to get that back. Just to get that motivation back would be awesome. I am going to do this. June 30th is my one year and I am going to start fresh and I want this 50 pounds that is left gone by Christmas. Angie
  17. Hey Checkin in ladies. I am still alive and well. Been running like crazy and trying to get things done. Karen I am sorry to here about His Grandma. I hope he is doing ok and you too. I want to say this to you all, I love you so very much and appreciate everything you say and have done for me. I couldnt have met a better group of ladies and appreciate the hell out of you. I am going to call and get a fill scheduled and I am going to start working out, eating right, and measureing my food. I need to do this for me to make me feel better about myself. I have gained four pounds in two weeks and I feel so bad for it. I have been eating like I was back in the day and need to stop. My scale said 180 this evening and I about cried. I did make the first step and go grocery shopping and bought the right foods. I just need to implement the plan. Wish me luck ladies. I am off of here. Love you all, Angie
  18. Aww, thanks Denika! That is very sweet of you. I do feel that what is going on has helped me with those four pounds but I really need to get up and move and eat right and get a fill and start this ball rolling again. Thanks again, Angie

  22. Trying not to alarm you but you could be developing gallbladder problems? I know I had bad problems like that up in my shoulder, on my left side, and six months later I had to have my gallbladder removed. It wouldnt hurt to get it checked out. After I had it removed the gas pains in my shoulder were gone for good. Angie
  23. Cool Deal!!! Thanks Karen. And thanks Karen's Mom! Angie
  24. awww, Thank you Jack! You're a sweetheart. Angie
