OMG! You are a backgammon freak like me!!! I love that game!!! :couch2: My friend and I play it alot when we get a chance to play together. It's a bunch of fun. Wish I could come saturday! It's killing me I cant. Plus it's #2 daughters 7th birthday! #1 Just had her's yesterday and #3 is on Oct. 2nd. So I am birthdaying it up for the next couple of weeks. Welcome to the NC thread!! We are a bunch of fun loving girls and love that you have come to visit. I am from SC but have adopted these girls and love them. I live maybe 20 minutes from Charlotte so thats why I dont go to the SC thread. Join the others on saturday if you can, its a lot of fun. Yes, It is September 1st and has been a beautiful day! Things are going pretty darn good for me lately. I am feeling pretty darn happy, been seeing a guy, and I got a JOB! I have been hired at Starbucks and it feels great! I went to their open house for the one opening down from Ruby Tuesday and they interviewed me and then hired me that afternoon. I then started work the next day. The weight loss is starting to move again. Ive been walking the girls to school in the morning and in the afternoon home. Its been nice and the crossing guard guy is absolutely adorable. We have been talking but he is too young for me. He is 24 and I am 35! Just wouldn't work lol but he is fun to talk to and look at and you can't have too many friends in this world. I hope you all are doing great and losing weight and are happy with things in your life. I appreciate you all and wish I could make it on the 9th but since I got this job, Ive gotta work now. So I will see you next time! And I will see you Dianne on Tuesday! Angie

I am not sure. I only get a 10 minute break and I work six hours? So not sure when they will let me take it? I work from 8 to 2 on Saturday so come when you can and I may be able to take my break then? Angie

That is so cool! I would love to see you! But they wont let me ring up friends or family. You have to get other people to ring you up? Isnt that weird? But I will be there Tuesday. Come see me! Ok, bad news! I cant make it now. My boss called and the class they wanted me in this Saturday was changed for next Saturday. Hey Girls, Sorry I have been MIA for so long. I have been crazy busy and running around trying to find a job! We guess what? I did and I will be working at the Starbucks right across the street from Ruby Tuesday we go too. Isnt that great? I started yesterday and they are going to work with my schedule and with my girls. I think it is wonderful. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I have to be at work at 2 on the 9th so I think I should be able to swing it. I will have to come with my uniform on. I am training in Balletyne right now so I wont get to stay long? You girls are going to Concord aret you? hmmm.... I need to see if I will have enough time to get to Ballentyne from there? How long do you think it would take? Angie

I agree with you on that. I am now without a husband and now I have to get back into the work force. I am forced too and its hard to swallow. At least they are old enough to go to school and hopefully (knock on wood) I can find something that will work around them so I dont have to put them anywhere to spend that extra money. We shall see. I understand what you mean and wish there is a way you could stay home but we all have to make sure they are taken care of and it hurts to drop them off everyday. I am just finding that out myself. We all are great mother's on here and we all love our babies. Cheers to our little one's that make our lives much more happier, life wouldnt be the same without them. Angie

Tonya, You are fine. No offense takin here. I knew what you meant. It's a decision every Mother has to make. Do I stay home or do I work and send them to daycare? I chose to stay home because that is what I wanted to do and it worked out well with me and my husband. Now that we are seperated and the kids are out of the house, I feel like I am going through the empty nest syndrome a little too early! Since the other two have been going to school I would take them, drop them off, and then me and my youngest would have a good time together. We played alot, napped together, went to lunch together. I got out of the van this morning and went to open the door for her to get out but there was NO Dee Dee to get out of the Van. <sigh> I will get used to it. Just give me time and a job and it will get better!! lol Angie

I dont think she was saying "dumping" as a bad thing at all. I felt the same way when I had my three and I never took them to daycare. It was just my belief and I was fortunate to be able to stay home with them. Now that they are all in school, it is time for me to live a little and get a job and enjoy me again. It's exciting! I know, it was easier today and each day will get easier. It was so hard yesterday though. I missed her. I missed her today too. And she was soo excited to see Mommy pull around the loop to pick her up. That is awesome to see too. Tomorrow is day three. <sigh> Angie

Ok girls, Sorry, but I have been super busy and going crazy getting these girls ready for school. My baby girl is in prek and I am all alone!!!!!:cry I missed her today, it was so hard to be without my Dee!! She had so much fun at school! I asked her today if she missed me and she said "Yes Momma, I missed you but I didn't cry for you." It was so cute. I said baby Momma missed you and I cried for you and we gave each other a big hug. She is my little precious baby girl. Now all three of my precious little ones are off to school and going to get smart and take care of mama! Ok I am sure you all are sick of me now so I am off of here! Angie
