:clap2: Congratulations Jill! Welcome to Bandedland!

YAY Jill! I am so happy for you. Rest up, walk, sip slow, enjoy your liquids! It will pass quickly and you will enjoy the weight loss.

Happy Band Day!

Angie

Hey Ya'll!!!!

Sorry I didnt post yesterday, but hubby is bound and determine to make sure I get my prescribed 25 min of walking 2x a day.

So when I was dischared at 11:00am yesterday, we went to Rooms to go outlet to find new chairs for our new table. (found new table at ValuCity for 100) Its a bar height table, so I had to find taller chairs.

Then when we got the chairs, I came home, took a nap, then we went out again, this time to Target and got chewable Centrum, orange flavored. Which aren't bad. Reminds me of orange Flintstone's vitamins.

I want to go to Wally world today to find aloe vera juice. I forgot to get some the other day.

But, I dont know if I will go out. On the orders that Dr B left with the nurse said I cant take a shower till tomorrow. I feel sooooooo nasty.

I could have sworn when I was still good and stoned on morphine, which I HATE HATE HATE, he said I could shower today.

I will never do Morphine again.

IT made me soooooo dizzy.

Girl, if you can go to RTG and WalMart, and Target, I'm betting it's fine to take a shower. If the incisions are the issue, don't scrub them at all, let the water flow over then gently pat them dry when you are done. Clean and dry. Shooo weeeeeee! Take a shower! LOL

Welcome to Bandland, Wavy! You're like one of those amazing stories we hear about people going shopping right after surgery! I can't believe you went from the hospital to go furniture shopping, and then out shopping again! That's crazy! *laughs*

Anyway, welcome home and grats on getting your band.

*hugs*

Well, I had to walk, and I was only going to do it in the A/C.

Hubby did the sweetest thing for me this morning. He washed my hair in the sink for me.

So I did to go to Wally World today, since I dont stink anymore.

Tomorrow I get to take the bandages off and let soapy water run over them.

Do you know if it will sting?

Mine didn't. I hope yours don't either!

Welcome to bandland! I wasn't in a hurry to take the bandages off if I remember correctly.

I can't believe how full of energy you are! WTG Glad your feeling so well.

Well I totally over did it today.

I slept til 11am, and woke up just starving. But instead of downing a protien shake first, i was an idiot and took a hot shower. So, since then, i've been dizzy on and off. DUH DUH DUH.

Then I went shopping from 1-4.

So now I am sore and dizzy.

Im a goober. But now my tush is glued to the couch.

Oh and how long was it before you guys migrated from the reclyner to the bed?

I stayed in the recliner for 5 days, although I probably could have gone back the bed after 3. Having gas pain when I had my tubes tied, I kept waiting for it to hit, and it never did. Hey, maybe that recliner stuff really works!? :clap2:

Jill I am so sorry for just getting to say WELCOME TO THE OTHER SIDE...

Hope your doing well and don't over do it girl.

I am so glad you are on the lossing side....You are going to do GREAT!!!!!
