Thanks everyone- I was in a lot of pain but was up and walking. I have a lot of swelling so they still won't let me drink anything. I'm hoping to have some Water today , I am sooo thirsty .

Hey everyone! great wont miss thread i agree on all of them adding to that i wont miss my work scrubs worned out cause of my thighs freagin Rubbing against each other!! fitting in the tub., rides and definately wont miss being bigger than my boyfriend!! Hate! With a passion the your so pretty! If you only would lose some weight!! Blahhh so fake just dont say anything! So ready to make changes and prove everybody wrong! God first we all be success stories soon cant wait to be in the losers bench bring it on!! My best wishes in eveybody's journey :0)

I'm now about 15 hours post op and doing well. I've been up and walked twice. First time just to nurses station (about 12 feet) then second time all the way to end of hall. I felt like I was going to vomit when I got to each "goal" point which is how I gaged when to stop and head back. Luckily no vomiting. Tomorrow I get to drink!!! Yay bc my throat feels like the Sahara. LOL.
I give all the honor and glory to God for my success today through surgery, starting recovery and having EXCELLENT doctors and nurses placed in my path!!

Hi guys just wanted to post update in case someone else may have similar complications. I have been taken off the operation list for Monday 6 May my bloods were apparently not encouraging and surgeon wants me to resolve the elevated liver enzymes before the roux en y. Not quite sure what to make of this second postponement. I'm praying that my liver is ok and bloods improve. I suppose being cautious is prudent. I thought the gall bladder was the problem but there seems to be a concern that in case it's not i may not be healthy enough to proceed with the wls. I wish everyone the best if I'm cleared for surgery I think I'll post operation instead of raising my hopes up. But I'll continue learning from all of you and trying to loose on the Protein diet. All the best to upcoming surgeries.

My date is the 21st, I start my diet tomorrow. I got the ones from Walmart an there not bad.

I started incorporating shakes a couple of months ago- I'm still pre op. I like the Premier Protein shakes from cosco - 30 grams of Protein in a little shake - and it's yummy

I have Aetna Pos.. I have faith that my Dr's office knows what they are doing. im excited and get more so each day.
Still have to wait til sept to get my date.

I had Aetna pos and my paper work was super easy.

Omg! I feel awesome. My surgery went well today. Ive already been up walking. I got to my room at 125. Ive been stirrin since!
