Flatulence
I think I'm having my first post surgery emergency. I'm not sure if I'm over reacting perhaps u hv experienced it. I have extreme flatulence preceded by a bloated feeling almost as if someone is injecting air into my tummy below the naval. Then while I try to release the gas I hv severe pain all over below the naval n it feels like and I can hear a liquid like sound on the left side of my lower tummy. I hv been ignoring the funny sounds my tummy makes but today this is beyond extreme. Should I b going to the emergency room is something leaking?

May surgeries!
- May surgeries!
Hi guys just wanted to post update. I have been taken off the operation list for Monday 6 May my bloods were apparently not encouraging and surgeon wants me to resolve the elevated liver enzymes before the roux en y. Not quite sure what to make of this second postponement. I'm praying that my liver is ok and bloods improve. I suppose being cautious is prudent. I thought the gall bladder was the problem but there seems to be a concern that in case it's not i may not be healthy enough to proceed with the wls. I wish everyone the best if I'm cleared for surgery I think I'll post operation instead of raising my hopes up. But I'll continue learning from all of you and trying to loose on the protein diet. All the best to upcoming surgeries.- Removal of Gall Bladder and RNY
