Good luck and wishes for a speedy, non-eventful recovery

Sending you prayers at 10:08 for a very uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. I will be meeting with my surgeon for my first visit a week from Thursday, and am thinking how I would love to be having my surgery at 10:30 this morning.

Met with my friend who had RNY 5 years ago...she is normal weight, feels and looks fabulous and would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Post op was painful and she had 2nd thoughts...for first couple months...and then now can eat most everything and loves her life and vitality!

Let me know how it goes for you.

Hope your surgery went well. I had mine yesterday at 10:30 also. Mine is going well so far. Pain isn't too bad, nausea is going away, and I'm up and walking. How about you?

Thanks everyone- I was in a lot of pain but was up and walking. I have a lot of swelling so they still won't let me drink anything. I'm hoping to have some water today , I am sooo thirsty .
