  1. I'm also a grazer. I eat yogurt all the time....but the chez-its are the worst. I like almonds too. I have to say though...I've lost 91 pounds. My surgery was April 1st.....so I must not be doing too bad. I think I'll hit 100 by six months *surely*. I'm also not a dumper...and I've been testing that. Morbid curiosity, I guess. I've had cookies and m&ms. Yes, I realize I'm triggering bad behavior. I've only eaten 3 m&ms at a time. Moderation.
  2. I love the turkey bites and sticks! I carry yogurt everywhere and I have a fabric lunch bag I use with cold packs. It will keep it cold for over 8 hours. I eat a lot of greek yogurt.
  3. The liquid diet was the worst part. I hated it. It will get better though!
  4. See? This is crazy to me. My doctor had me swallowing pills in the hospital. The minute the morphine pump was out, they were dropping full percocets down my throat!
  5. I eat them too. There is a local supermarket here that cooks ribs and chicken wings. I buy them.
  6. I ate a small bowl of chili...then I licked the seasoning off an entire box of Town House Pita oven baked crackers in Mediterranean herb. An entire box. Im not kidding.
  7. Too many carbs makes me sleepy now. Like...totally carb sensitive. I haven't had issues with nausea or vomiting or any of that. I do totally crash over carbs.
  8. I'm eating that yogurt right now! Have you checked out the Healthy Choice frozen yogurt? I eat them all the time. It does have 17 carbs per one. I only have issues if I eat two of them too close together, Sigh. And I have. I just slides right through my pouch
  9. Toasted Coconut Vanilla yogurt and beef jerky.
  10. Mine wasn't stinky at first...but then every time I added something new....it was like...omg. You'd lose your breath it was so bad. My cat was looking for whatever died once on the couch. I'm 2 months out. That's stopped now and I'm back to normal.
  11. Mine went fast. My insurance would only pay 4k, so not many hoops to jump through. You'll succeed. You can't help but succeed. I was worried about the same thing and I'm now down over 60 pounds. My surgery was April 1st.
  12. Walmart has it! The flavors I've seen in that brand are: toasted coconut vanilla YUMMY, banana creme YUMMY but not AS yummy, orange MEH, and lime....meh x 2. It's $1.
  13. I enjoyed that Baker required the private room and gave me that morphine pump. THOSE SHOTS BURNED like the dickens! I had bruises all over my belly from them!
  14. I take those and use the perfect tortilla bowl things that you bake in the oven. Then I put my chili and such in them. I rip the sides off and use them to dip the stuff out. I usually throw the rest of the bowl away.
  15. I had watermelon yesterday. Made my pouch sore. Ugh. So for a while, I'm on yogurt. I LOVE Danon Light & fit greek blends in toasted coconut vanilla. 80 calories, 0 fat, 7 sugars, 9 carbs, 12 protein. What's not to love?
  16. My program has me on a regular diet right now. I tried watermelon and it made my pouch sore. Ugh. I'm on yogurt only for the next couple of days. I love the Danon Light & fit greek blends in toasted coconut vanilla. 80 calories, 0 fat, 7 sugars, 9 carbs, 12 protein. What's not to love?
  17. Oh, I'm so sorry! I hope you get better soon!
  18. I Only managed 47 minutes today. meh, it'll do. anything is better than nothing. It took me a whole to get up to this.
  19. I'm still on chili. Ground chuck, chili beans and kidney beans with all the spices. My pouch loves it.
  20. I bought a commercial machine and I do the fat burner one for 30 minutes and then repeat. (for some reason that program will only let you do 30 minutes max. I don't know why so you have to do it twice) Tonight was my first night to get back up to 60 minutes since surgery. I've been at 30 and 45 forever! I had an ACL reconstruction in 05 and this is the only high cardio I can do comfortably.
  21. 60 min on the elliptical
  22. Nothing is wrong. It took me FOREVER to have one. You might want to try a suppository. You aren't eating and you didn't eat much before surgery. You don't have much in there.
  23. My nut had me drink apple juice. Regular. I don't have issues with fruit sugars though. I gave it up since it's empty calories so I can't see why you couldn't do sugar free.
  24. Really? I haven't heard of any with gerd after gastric bypass. I've seen a ton of sleeve patients that it made it horrible...but not bypass. I'm so glad it helped mine and didn't make it worse.
  25. Yes, it cured mine too
