No Bowel Movement Yet

I had surgery on June 4th. Unfortunately, I haven't had a BM yet! What's wrong with me? Is this a bad thing?

Nothing is wrong. It took me FOREVER to have one. You might want to try a suppository. You aren't eating and you didn't eat much before surgery. You don't have much in there.

You may be a little dehydrated too. Give it time! Prayers out to you on the journey!

I had my surgery June 3rd and didn't have one until yesterday. My suggestion would be baby food prunes (half a jar is 2 oz) They don't taste great, but they worked! Plus make sure you're walking and drinking sips of water between meals. Hope that helps.

Try milk of magnesia. Works in 1/2 to 3 hours.

I had to use milk of mag but it took a few hours to work

All normal.... I took me 7 days to poop !!! Keep hydrated and go for a long walk.. that usually gets my bowels moving !
