Jerkey is really high in protein.

I tried and liked the Old Wisconsin Turkey sticks, they are low in fat, good flavor and I think they have about 4g of protein each, I get them at wal-mart, and highly recommend them.

Cheese sticks, turkey bacon, hard boiled eggs, yogurt w/protein powder mixed in.

I am going to San Diego with my boyfriend for Labor Day weekend. By then I will be half way through my eighth week. I am learning how to eat again and so far have only struggled with a few things.
I need some ideas for foods that travel well in a back pack. We are going to sea world and the zoo and the wild animal park so I would like to avoid buying food from the parks as I'm sure it's mostly expensive junk.
I am not allowed to have protein bars or shakes (stupid I know) I have fruit and nuts and packets of peanut butter. Any other ideas?
