  4. That's how section 8 is. Emergency case or not. Got to wait. Look into some foundations that have housing all around. They can get you apartment's fairly quickly, all rent based on income. I live in an apartment complex that the Caleb Foundation owns and rents to me on how much income is coming in.
  5. There are a lot of great housing out there from great foundations that have mile long waiting lists but in certain cases they can get you apartments pretty quickly, and based on income with mostly everything included.
  6. Thats how I am.. LOL. I didn't do anything for 4 weeks and lost weight every day. Ive been back to the gym for 5 days and gained 2 pounds.
  7. I know every state is different but here they only open Section 8 applications one day a year and the list to obtain a voucher is 3, 4, 5 years long.
  8. Thats great! Enjoy your walk! I did 15 minutes on the elliptical, 10 minutes on treadmill, and another 15 minutes on the elliptical at the gym this morning! My first week back to the gym.
  9. I brought tons of stuff to the hospital. Never used anything. They have everything you need and really you won't care how you look. Lol.
  10. Tomorrows a new day, get back on the wagon
  11. I had surgery the same day and I've been the same way. Forcing myself to eat something. It seems the past couple days I've been better. I feel like eating something. A couple table spoons of a few items and I am all set. It'll get better!
  12. Me too! Going crazy.
  13. Can't believe its already June! Happy June
  14. Thats where mine was! Was so annoying, constantly beeping at me for the week I was in the hospital.
  15. Went back to the gym for the first time yesterday. Weighed myself this morning and gained 4 pounds since then..
  16. I was told you can drive once you have been off the pain meds for 3 days.
  17. Oh and they couldn't get it at the top of my hand where the IV is suppose to go for a surgery so they had to do it in between me arm where it bends. SUPER annoying because I'd set the machine off every time I even got out of bed because Id set off the flow.
  18. I too have trouble with iv or getting blood. I have like no veins. Lol. The hospital anesthesiologist has done it all, can even numb the spot for the IV so he can definitely get it. It'll be fine. Nurses don't even try to do it on me anymore, just call the anesthesiologist.
  19. Thank you all for the birthday wishes!
  20. Liquids go right thru. And your pouch nerves probably are still not awake. Im 4 weeks today and never feel anything. No hunger or fullness.
  21. Water, Protein, Gym!
