still not eating much

My surgery wss 4/29 and I'm still not beyond eating a couple bites. I force myself to eat most meals even the ones I'm really looking forward to. So not wanting to eat! I am getting my protein through drinks but man I worry about getting enough calories. I guess I just have to trust the process.

I had surgery the same day and I've been the same way. Forcing myself to eat something.

It seems the past couple days I've been better. I feel like eating something. A couple table spoons of a few items and I am all set. It'll get better!

Glad I'm not alone on this! Better than wanting to eat all the time!

Enjoy this moment cuz once you can actually eat you have to learn portion & don't over eat.

It does change... it take a while but you will get hungry and you will eat. As Mami said above enjoy it while it lasts :)

I could not eat in the beginning and everything made me want to puke, now my stomach growls and I am hungry. Now it's portion control and making sure I'm not snaking which is hard when I'm at work and the clock is moving slow.

I try to keep really cold drinks and ice in the freezer at work so I can have Water with lemon, crystal light or a drink enhancer to get me through when I just want to snack and should be drinking

Best Wishes :)
