  1. Good morning, I just joined yesterday because I was looking for people at least 7 months post op. I had my surgery back in August and things have been going great up until February. My weight loss was steady and I was motivated to stay the course. In February my husband and I went on a cruise... Food, food, food!!!! I was strong and did good, but since then the pounds are not coming off. I have been fighting plateaus for 3 months. I joined a gym and try to go at least 3 times a week but still the weight is holding on. I am down 93 lbs. from my surgery but I need to keep moving. Any suggestions!

  3. I am 9 months post op and I have never regretted having the surgery. I was excited and scared too, that is normal. I just got back from the gym, I rode the bike for 30 minutes and walked on the treadmill for 41 minutes. I never could have done that before my surgery.
  4. I feel great! The beginning was a little rough for me. Back in October I had severe pain and nausea, so back in the hospital over the long weekend, they found 3 ulcers. I've always had reflux and Gerd so I thought that was it. The doctor put me on a stronger dose of protonix and I've been great ever since. I never regret having the surgery!!!
  5. Post op. I had my surgery in August at Tufts. My starting weight was 283 and I'm down to 190, but been at a stand still for more than a month.
