I need to take a short flight(about an hour) the beginning of my fourth week. Just curious if other people have done that or a 5hour drive and how soon post op.

How soon did you travel after surgery by plane and car?

Today is day 5 on losers bench! Only on pain meds at night and am able to get in 40gms protein and 50 oz of fluids in a day. Never hungry. Still taking afternoon naps, able to walk several times a day. Drain tube is having less and less output changing from cherry colored to beer colored, having loose fecal output daily, and yes my period came 2weeks early due to surgery. This might be TMI, but thought it may help other what to anticipate. Hope everyone is doing well.

Checking out of the hospital this morning...woot!!

Day 2 post op- feeling much better. Tested for leaks and came back clean, no leaks:) Lots of walking, burping, an sipping. Off the morphine drip and on oral pain meds. Onward and upward:)

Officially on the losers bench! Had surgery today and recovering well:) Pain is managed and walking the halls, literally taking it one hour at a time. Good luck everyone!!!!!

How many people drove themselves to their post op appt? Mine is 11 days after surgery...

Just received my date yesterday, June 3rd!!

I just received a call yesterday that my surgery is in 10 days!!!! Can anyone advise what I want to pack for the hospital (2-3 day stay)?

So I found out I was approved!! Next question is they said it would take another two weeks to call to set up date. Does that seem right? And how long of a wait is it to the scheduled surgery date?

Hi all- New to the site and was wondering if anyone has submitted to Medical Mutual? Why was the process? Or even better submitted to Medical Mutual thru the Cleveland Clinic. Thanks in advance:)
