  1. According to my fitness pal, half an egg foo yung patty-with shrimp is 157 calories -the gravy is usually a broth thickened with cornstarch. Fat grams for half a patty is 12-
  2. Maybe the place you go uses MSG? That is what is found in meat tenderizer and makes us puke...
  3. Watch out for strictures...this is how mine started.
  4. I have had a taco...yummy! Calories aren't outrageous...just log it and work around it.
  5. It does get better-some people have resolution of incontinence. And, yes, there is surgery that can correct it. I had problems with it...three kids and almost 50 years old. It's much better now tho.
  6. HW-288 SW-262 CW-184 Yay!!!
  7. Outstanding! Keep up the good work...
  8. Can you take that grilled salmon and purée it?
  9. Rny has shown definite improvements for diabetes.
  10. Sadly, I have lost a few. And those did a pretty good job of ripping my heart out as well. But-let's face it. We drastically change, and I do mean drastically. Friends are often based on similar interests, regardless what they might've been. We change. It's not surprising that some relationships do as well.
  11. I forgot... I did do tofu with veggies in a garlic sauce... Yummie!! But the veggies were after 3-4 months post op.
  12. No more than 2 months- just chew alot on the sprouts. They may bother you. I did shrimp or veggie egg foo young at first. Try a little, see how it goes. And ask for extra gravy on the side. At most you can only eat a 1/4 or 1/2 a patty so split it with someone. I find it too dry to eat as a leftover.
  13. Pizza is too high in carbs...it's bad news after surgery...
  14. International cafe makes a sugar free decaffeinated Suisse mocha that is excellent.
  15. Grilled or fried with a tablespoon or so of olive oil. Very quick-don't overlook em.
  16. You guys have it better than I did...clear liquids plus protein shakes for me. The first four days were sheer torture.
  17. I have no tattoos... But I wonder if it would hurt more without so much fat under the skin? I know that my loose skin, ESP on the arms, is much less pain tolerant than it used to be.
  18. Think yourselves to be 100 lbs heavier? I am now 184, and have been in one-derland for a while, but when I think about my weight, the brain clicks to 284...can't seem to reset the counter, even the clothes are obviously much smaller.
  19. I eat more large scallops myself-softer than fish, and I buy 3 large ones at the seafood counter in the grocery store. Less expensive than Starbucks, and excellent protein. I don't share em...lol!
  20. Any hope to recover your bento box? I was thinking of using one of those to pack lunch...neat idea. Hope today goes better for you.
  21. Remember, we need to seek happiness at all levels and stages. Don't bank your happiness for when you get to be a certain weight, else, you won't be happy even then. Be happy now...and continue doing the right things. There will be setbacks and struggles. Find joy even in those moments.
  22. I am too...went from dying to...living. grandly!! The bad news is I really discovered when I was no longer just an insurance check, everything at home fell apart. So at least if I ever go back on the dating scene, I will look good in tight jeans...lol!
  23. I am also losing my hair...thinking of going with the GI Jane look...lol!
