October 25, 201213 yr Yes. Most insurance companies and dr require one to make sure you can handle the life chafes the surgery brings and to see if you have any depression that may need treated. Hope this helps good luck.
October 25, 201213 yr yes, I think it is a normal requirement. Let's just say I have not heard of anyone that did not have to get one. They are no big deal by the way.
October 25, 201213 yr Yeah I had one - as a result I also need a year of therapy concurrently with the op etc... Otherwise the surgeon wouldnt have agreed to do the surgery
October 26, 201213 yr Author that's my worry! my surgeon have not asked me to have 1 done!!! only reason I know about it now is because my cousin who had the surgery years ago just asked me if I had mine done today.

October 27, 201213 yr Yup.. Did the oil' psych eval. Every stage is a much longer process that I originally thought, but hanging on cause I can't wait for the end results!
