I packed comfy loose cloths to come home in, underwear and robe or pj pants for walking. Phone charger and chapstick. I used face wash wipes to not have to bend over to wash my face, tooth brush and toothpaste I took but used the hospitals. I took my kindle but never used it I didn't even use my phone only to talk to my daughter. I walked and slept. Surgery 7/25/12

My doctor also says coffee ok as long as I drink double the coffee in Water. I don't drink coffee per se I drink the atkins mocha latte Protein and it has coffee in it. It's so yummy and I get one a day around 3pm Surgery 7/25/12

I was really unsupportive of moms RNY surgery 2 years ago. I told her she was taking the easy way out... Fast forward to present time I have repeatedly apologized for not being there 110% for her, this is by no way the easy way out. I was uneducated and jealous. People don't understand.... Its the hardest and best decision of my life. Surgery 7/25/12

Thank you everyone! This morning as I got ready for church I put on a dress I used to wear all the time and it was big side ways but too short length wise. Made me wonder I used to looked like a busted biscuit tube and thought I looked cute lol.... I love the encouragement and celebrate every chance I get Surgery 7/25/12

Watching tv this morning and I see their commercial & they advertise for all shapes??! I go online & they now carry up to size 30 4x. That's amazing! the prices are cheaper than lane bryant and they are trendy. Check them out I ordered the layered tanks since I wear them with everything everyday Surgery 7/25/12

Keep busy and focus on why you are doing it. Reminding myself kept me so calm. Even sitting in the surgery prep area I was calm. I took deep breaths asks my questions and went in feeling confident I made the best decision of my life. All the luck! Surgery 7/25/12

Best feeling ever! I was always the person that tried to lose weight did stuff then never SEEN results and gave up! Even though I was swimming in my cloths I was comfortable and couldn't really "see" the smaller me in big ol cloths. I can't stop looking at my pants. I would have left the size long sticker just for my person reminder! Lol I see smaller and my smile is bigger Surgery 7/25/12

Which powered do you use? I've tried: chocolate, vanilla, Cookies and cream, French vanilla, and unflavored.... They all taste nasty! I hate the chalkiness. I'm 9 weeks and I've added fruit, extracts, decaf coffee, sf creamers.... Lol desperate to fall in love with one. So my atkins premade mocha latte is tolerantable. I just have to drink more Water.
