Yeah I don't know why the doctor would encourage us to not bother with salad. But if your limited to the amount you can eat why waste it with lettuce? But its good and good for you. Surgery 7/25/12

I had my surgery here but my cousin did a self pay in Mexico. I will ask her if can get a hold of her today. She is phenomenal! She had no complications or issues. She is probably a year out. All of her after care has been in so cal where she lives. Also the Blogger the world according to egg face did a self pay in Mexico. You can check if she has anything to add. My surgeon has a no popcorn ever rule but check with yours it maybe okay if you tolerant it okay. My surgeon is fine with corn but no butter but in place a substitute like I can't believe its not butter. Surgery 7/25/12

Omgosh... It's sooo hard to stay hydrated the first month, or at least it was for me I was severely dehydrated at about 2 maybe 3 weeks. I peed once a day and it was very dark. I was dizzy. Had a bad headache. And had dry mouth. Hope you went to er- after 3iv bags I felt better than what was normal at the time. Surgery 7/25/12

I started 4 weeks out I love a good salad! But its not worth it, no nutritional value and takes up room for Protein. If it has protein I'm full without eating any actual lettuce! Lol Surgery 7/25/12

I hit my 50 pound mark this morning (51 to be exact). The scale wouldn't give it to me yesterday but it gave it to me today! *happy dance* I am down 50 post op and the 30 I lost pre op I am down 80 pounds from January when my journey began. That's the most I've ever lost and I feel great! I'm wearing tops I have held on it for vain reasons and pants that were dusty but fit great I still have a long road ahead of me but this feels good! And to top it off I am only 8 pounds away from being out of the 3's! I never want to see a 3_ _ ever ever again! Not Onederland yet, but I'll be Twoexcited Have a great day everyone! Surgery 7/25/12

I don't know... I always have head hunger and it drives me crazy. I try to drink Water and take bites of a Protein bar. Curious if it ever goes away?! But my hunger time hits when I'm home before dinner time. Surgery 7/25/12

I just ate a cinnamon roll Quest bar and omg it was yummy I wish I would warmed it up! I wanna try the pb&j one and I got mine at GNC too. Surgery 7/25/12

My surgeon says they can get stuck and cause blockage. Someone mentioned they have taken whole pills right away.... Are they absorbed and fully beneficial? Surgery 7/25/12
