  1. Great job!! I can't wait! Right now I am happy not to be Morbidly Obese. Just Obese...
  2. That's wonderful!! What a great present!
  3. Campka!! Glad to hear from you!!!! Congrats
  4. I am the same way. I literally have force myself to stop, look up and JUST say Thank You! Let me tell you it is hard at first. My first gut reaction is to curl into a ball. You don't change overnight but it does get easier. Just remind yourself of HOW HARD this really is and you deserve the compliment.
  5. SW 275 DOS 262 11/19/2012 Today 240 Barely a pound this week... sigh...I think I may be a bit smaller though.
  6. You are fine. I'm at four and 1/2 weeks and 21 pounds. :-)
  7. Yea!!! I can't wait to be there!!
  8. Hi! I'm worm2872 on MFP. Feel free to add me. I'm on there everyday
  9. Yes the unjury chicken soup is a great snack/lunch. I'm just so sick of chicken soup right now.
  10. My friend is like that. It's not everyday. But some days she says she grazes. Hopefully it will pass. It's a bit scary.
  11. Hi! I had good days and bad but I'm in my five week and I feel pretty good. I'm back to work and the only thing I feel is my internal healing. It does not hurt just with all the moving I can tell I had surgery if that makes sense. Still have to be careful. It will get better!! Hang in here and nice loss so far.
  12. I added biotin and fiber tablets. My dr already has me taking all the vitamins, Pepcid and Actigall twice a day.
  13. WOW Happy B DAY! And I can not even imagine losing 158!!! Good for you!
  14. Well, in my case I am still struggling with the thought that I 'failed' and that's why I needed the surgery. I know that is not really true but it is something I am working on. Also, some people are just rude and I don't want to deal with it. My close friends, hubby and mom know. None of the rest of the family. They can't keep quite and it's no body else's business. However, I give you credit if you want to shout it from the roof tops!!
  15. Well, I know I gage by what I can eat on its own. So if all the ingredients are OK and they are OK on your plan, then why not. I know I have pushed it with soft foods. My surgeon opened the door when she said she kinda mixes the soft and pureed stage.
  16. I had it for about a week during week 3 & 4. I think it is our bodies healing but I would still call your Dr. I found out that if I keep water in my pouch and made sure my blood sugar did not get low I was basically OK. Good Luck
  17. WHOO HOO! Mini NSV! I am not longer morbidly obese! BMI 39.9! LOL
  18. I'm glad to hear this as well as others are in the same situation!! :-) Sky, That wrap sounds soooooo good right now!!! I need to try turkey chili! Oh and salad... drool! Never thought I would say that! LOL
  19. All of a sudden, I can eat more than a 1/4 of a cup. I had some all day nausea for my third and fourth week then I was fine and could eat a more. I'm in my fifth week now. I think some of the internal swelling went down. I am still really careful eating. I just hope I didn't strech anything out. My luck I did. But I do know that some people can eat more than others at this point.
  20. I took four weeks but I had a complication and had to have a second surgery about a week out. I could have gone back in three but I had some nausea that would have been hard to deal with and I was still getting my food under control. I have a desk job but I travel all over PA.
  21. Katie: I'm in the same boat. My surgery was 11/19. Just be patient and keep doing what you are doing. It will come off Welcome!!
