  2. I used to have a hard stomach, meaning few foods and smells bothered me. Now I'm like a pregnant woman. One day the smell of cinnamon smells great, the next day it makes me vomit. Same with tastes as well. I feel like such a weak wuss right now. But I've learned that this is just a phase and it will pass. So just know that at one point you might go through the nauseous phase but it won't last forever. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:302

I'm 1 month post op too and I have 0 energy. I usually have to force myself. I just walked a few blocks to the supermarket and was utterly exhausted when I got there. I hear it gets better as time goes on but for now I say we just have to push ourselves. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:306
  15. Went to the rheumatologist Friday and he noticed that my fingertips were blue and for the past 2 weeks I've noticed numbness in my arms, lower legs and feet. Idk if I should be concerned or not. So many new things happening that idk whether it's normal or not SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:306
  16. 4 weeks post op And I have no energy at all. I have to force myself to even walk the dog. Hope to get my energy back soon. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:306
  17. I had one last month and after debating with the nurse, we decided that I should just chug the liquid that they add to the Water straight like a shot. That worked much better as opposed to trying to drink all of that water SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:306
  18. I don't use the skin or seeds. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:306
  19. Cool! Glad I could help SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:306
  20. Quest makes good bars. They also have a Reese cup like candy with 20g of Protein. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:306
  21. I'm only about a month out but at 5 days post op I was consuming the same amount. Don't worry because as time goes on you'll be able to get more in. Try no sugar added apple juice mixed with Water. Crystal light and mio works for me too Jello and pudding were great for me as well. Also It may seem strange but I drink more water if it's in a glass or cup. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:306
  22. Funny you posted this. I had an appointment today with a rheumatologist and discovered that I have arthritis in my right knee. I thought it was hurting because of my weight and thought it would be better since losing 32 lbs post op but it still hurts. Was told no more NSAIDs and now were doing to work on a plan to alleviate the pain instead of masking it with drugs. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:306
  23. Sure. First I buy fresh fruit and when I get home, I wash, cut, bag and freeze all the fruit. It's cheaper for me but if you want, you can just buy already frozen fruit. The sky is the limit on what kind of fruit you choose. I also use a magic bullet blender. To make the mango one, I use 1 mango, 1 peach, a cup strawberries, (sometimes a banana) a pear, a splash of Water or no sugar added apple juice, a scoop of protein powder a d depending on how sweet the fruit is, a little bit of splenda. If the fruit is not frozen, use ice cubes and blend. The chocolate shake I use 8 oz 1% milk, a packet of no sugar added hot chocolate mix and a scoop of protein powder. You may add Peanut Butter, banana, no sugar added frozen yogurt (like the ice cream type) a tbsp of sugar free pudding mix (whatever flavor you like, I like cheesecake) The possibilities are endless.
