  1. A few slices of turkey pastrami, greek yogurt and for dinner maybe a turkey hotdog and chili. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:310
  2. I'm only 19 days out but I use the treadmill. I had open RNY so I'm still sore and not fully healed so I can't use the weights :-( SD:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:310
  3. I know how u feel. I'm 18 days post op and I'm hungry all the time. I think I'm so used to that "so full I'm about to pop" feeling that just having something in my stomach seems empty to me. Idk I just had a protein shake 25g with a whole mango, whole pear and a cup of strawberries and I still feel hungry. I'm just gonna go to bed cuz I keep getting up and going to the kitchen and I don't wanna eat anything unhealthy like those Doritos that are calling my name :-( SD:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:310
  4. Are u saying that the RX is causing discomfort? I was prescribed that med to take 3x a day after surgery to prevent gallstones. But it hasn't caused a problem that I'm aware of. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:310
  5. Welcome! SD:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:310
  6. I can only get in about 30oz Water and 25-30 gm of Protein a day. And that's on a good day. It's really hard for me SD:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:310
  7. 18 days out and had my 1st followup and I've lost 28 pounds. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:310
  8. It wasn't spicy in taste but for some reason my pouch grumbled and rumbled all day and I had heartburn all night SD:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:310
  9. No there's no iron in it. I take 2 iron Vitamins a day and 2 chewable Calcium as well. DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312
  10. Nobody posted since me? Well I had Greek yogurt for breakfast. 1/4 can of chicken gumbo soup (pouch was very angry at that) now I'm eating the last 1/4 can of Tuscan chicken soup from yesterday. Was visiting parents so did not have a protein shake all day! :-( DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312
  11. I use gummi Vitamins. DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312
  12. Aww man! That sucked! I'm enjoying a mango strawberry shake now. So delicious DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312
  13. Cut up turkey hot dog with a few tbsp of beef chili. Went down ok. Earlier was 1/2 can of Tuscan chicken soup eaten in 2 sittings. DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312
  14. I think every doc is different. Mine said ginger ale was ok and was given it post op in the hospital. He said that carbonation stretching your pouch is a myth and most docs tell you to stay away from soda is because of the sugar and empty calories and it can lead back to unhealthy dieting habits especially fast food. DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312
  15. I like unjury products. The unflavored one is great for making a variety of things. Right now I'm having a smoothie. Handful of frozen strawberries ( I buy fresh, wash, slice and freeze) 1/2 banana, splash of Water, a little stevia and a scoop of Protein. I have a magic bullet and I love it. I put it in Soups (keep temp under 130 or it will clump) and the unjury chicken soup is great. I add a can of chicken breast to it. DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312
  16. You look so nice! DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312
  17. I'm not too far along post op but now when I have somewhere to go that I'm going to be at for a while, I bring a Greek yogurt with me. Perhaps you could cook a dish to bring to the party, like a chicken chili. DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312
  18. My feet slipped right into my sneakers without a struggle! And my underwear don't roll down my stomach! I'm loving it! DOS:1/28/13 HW:358 DOS:338 CW:312

I know how you feel. I can't drink all the required water or protein. I got kinda depressed yesterday and cried because it seems like b4 the surg is was obsessed with food and now after surgery I'm still obsessed with trying to eat and drink but it's harder bcuz I can't fit it all in in one day!
  20. I'm on my 30 min wait right now. Had a tiny sip of apple juice to rinse. I ate Wendy's chili and all those strong flavors I needed to rinse. I feel like a big kid. 5 more minutes and I can finally drink!! LoL
  21. Ya I get really full off of water. It takes me FOREVER to drink a bottle of water. It may seem weird but I drink more if I put it in a glass.
