Chapter 1: The Beginning
Hey, I'm Ashley, and I'm about four weeks post op. I'm 21 years old, and your life story sounded like mine, to the T! My dad was actually the one who mentioned the idea to me, And I was in "wtf did you just say to me" mode at first, but then considered it further, dove head first in to research and well, we see where I am now. Nearly 40 lbs down, and feeling better than i have in a long time. I've had my ups and downs the past few weeks, but I've never regretted my decision. Because I know that if I had kept going the way I was I'd die before I was 30. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message, I'd love to answer any questions you have, and it's always nice to have someone around your own age to talk to about this stuff.

Divorce Help
I know that where I live, you go to the court and it's $40 for the papers, you both sign it and turn it back to the court.

Depression
Thank you all for you kind words and advice. I'm feeling a lot better today. My best friend, who is sometimes a little too nosey for her own good rummaged through my phone this morning and saw this post, where she went a little ape s***. And took me out for the day, not letting me get a moment to settle in to my mind. We went shopping, and swimming and souping. (it's what she calls eating out with me now. because I stick to Soups, and it adds nice alliteration) Then we took a visit to another friends house, whom I haven't seen since before surgery and she gushed about how different I looked, which was a nice reminder of what I'm doing this for. But thank you all. I knew I'd get support from y'all.

I started sleeping on my stomach after about a week and a half. I couldn't sleep otherwise.

Tasty shake
My nut said that we can absorb 45 none the less. I don't have it all at once. It is body fortress whey isolate. It has 60g for 2 scoops. I make 16oz in the morning and break it down to 4 - 4 oz meals. So I get my protein in through the day.
-
Eating Schedule
I'm 2 weeks out, I'm eating 5x a day, making sure each meal is at least 12g of protein each.

It's been a long journey, 20 and excited
I was in stage one which was liquids. I had four ounces of whey isolate w/ skim milk 5x a day. And I walked a half mile three times a day. I think that the reason I lost so much was because I have a lot to lose.

Prayers needed!
Worse comes to worse you will have to wait a few years for your history to be acceptable. Or have you considered self pay? Or it might be a blessing in disguise. A chance to do it on your own. I know it sucks but maybe someone has a plan.
