  4. Where did you find the high protein slimfast? I tried the regular slimfast (cappacino flavored) it was TOO SWEET for me.

  7. Is anyone else in this funk mood that they seem they can not get out of. I have no desire to do anything or go anywhere. I just want to feel normal. I am tired of liquids (not hungry just want something more that liquid) and tired of feeling out of place. I should be going back to work soon and really don't think I am mental ready. Is anyone else going thru this.
  8. I understand how you are feeling. I will just like that one week ago. We have came up with "other ways" to get things done and for me not to pick her up. Yesterday was my first time after surgery going to pick her up from preschool. She ran up and was telling all her friends and teachers "look my mommy is better my mommy is better". This morning I woke her up just a few mins earlier than normal just so we could " cudle and snuggle:" in the recliner. (I made sure to put a pillow on my stomach just incase).
  9. Yay for you getting to go to puree. I am on liquid for atleast another week. congrats on the weightloss. Getting started in the right direction.
  10. I know exactly what you mean. I just don't feel like me. Just a little struggle trying to get back to normal day to day activities

  12. Thanks! I really hope I can cope until then. When I first came home I could not even lay in my bed. So just sleeping in my own bed has been a HUGE improvements.
  13. I just had surgery on 5/15/13 and I have always sleep on my stomach. When were you able to sleep back on your stomach? I feel like I will sleep better and that will aid in the healing process.
  14. Hey guys. Just checking in to see how everyone was? Trying to get the protein and all the fuilds in is tough. I am still trying to figure out I manage to be discharged weighing less than when I went in. Day of surgery I was 245 even with all the fluid I was 243.2 when I was discharged. Anyways today is 5 days post op and I weight 237. YYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY.
