  4. For me it began at 3 months and stopped between 6 and 9, definetly noticable in the tub but not really to anyone else, i was told biotin was good and have taken it everyday and i swear by it.
  5. I had a hernia, gallbladder and cyst removed in one surgery and was grateful because it was only once under anesthesia . I have a great surgeon that was also willing to do everything at once.
  6. Dumping for me is when i eat either too many car bs or sugar. You get heart palpitations, cold sweats and u feel like u are going to pass out and u need to lay down because u r so tired. The few times i have thrown up in 8 yrs being post op is when I did not chew enough or when the food has been to dry i.e., chicken breast.
  7. Not looking forward to my liquid diet, I start on 8/6 and surgery is not until 8/20. However I do plan on keeping away from the tv except for movies!
  8. I was told at my pre op walk walk walk. No gym or weights for 6 months. I cannot even walk my lab bcuz she is 112lbs and the pulling could hurt my surgery. The other thing would be swimming once all your wounds have healed.
  9. Same one my doctor recommended to me.
  10. I am 8 yrs post op and use them all the time. However it is advised against it because it draws air in the pouch causing it ti stretch.
  11. That is wonderful, i go in on 8/20.
  12. Looking good! Congrats!
  13. I am 8 yrs and eat tabasco every other day! Jalapenos too, but be careful bcuz everyone is different.
  14. Congrats! I go in on 8/20!
  15. I have to go on a liquid diet two weeks prior to surgery.
  16. I went to my pre op today and they said water, water and more water. Also if you do get backed up to call the surgeon asap to send something otc.
  17. Good luck and enjoy the ride!
  18. Thanks for sharing, looks great!
  19. Wow, beautifully said. It amazes me how we forget that we did not become obese overnight and we will definetly not loose it that way either. How easy it is to say I will never with conviction when there is no bigger truth than never say never. If we would only concentrate on the Journey and be grateful we are here for the ride and everything we learn on a daily basis it would be a much more pleasant ride!
