1. Possibly my pot smoking, but I have a vape now so... mostly due to me being an idiot and taking a shot of alcohol only a month out (21st bday) - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
2. Yeah they gave me meds. 40lbs until my gown - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
3. All done - I have 3 ulcers which is actually great news because I thought it was my gal bladder which would have meant another surgery. On meds now. Man I felt rested after they put me out - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
4. I'm almost 5 months post op and down 80lbs. I do exercise but am unable to do so as much as I'd like because I'm busy with work and school and a boyfriend - sometimes I'm lucky to get to the gym once in a week. I mostly do yoga and try to go jogging occasionally. To make up for the lack of working out I try to make better decisions physically, so I haven't used an elevator since surgery (stairs! stairs! stairs!) and I don't try to get the closest parking spot etc. I also work at Starbucks so I stand 4-8hrs at a time so I sort of count that - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
5. Last time I wore this gown it barely fit around me, now I can tie it AND it's loose! Awesome feeling... until they put the IV in -.- - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
6. I died laughing - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
7. UGHHHHH today is the day. I've been having pain in my pouch and although the ulcer medication helped - it didn't cure the problem so my surgeon wants to scope me today :/ I hate hate hate needles and don't want to be here at all. He also wants to take blood today because I've been experiencing dizzy spells when i get up or bend down and I know I'm not dehydrated or low in iron. Obnoxiously nervous because of the needles :[ - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
8. Online but dont get it - it wasn't deeply engraved and so scratched up it's barely legible - I'm so pissed about it since it cost 40 dollars. Looking into doing an anklet since it'd be a lot harder to scratch - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
9. Essentially what I plan on getting - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
10. I found old pictures and videos of myself pre-op and newly post-op... that was my holy shit moment. My thinnest was in high school (180lbs at 5'8") and now I'm 186.6lbs.... but I don't see the Kaylee I miss from high school. When I was huge I saw old Kaylee, so now that I'm thinner I have a sense of "but this is how I always looked" because I never accepted or saw how much I really ballooned out. Now looking at me at 276lbs really puts it in perspective... but I'm still not even close to how I want to look. 140lbs I think i'll be happy... - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
11. As long as there's no aspirin/NSAIDs in it you should be fine - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
12. Do NOT put Gatorade in you! It's all sugar - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
13. HW: 276 SW: 263 Today: 189 Total loss of 74lbs since surgery and 87lbs since my highest - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
14. Assuming you're newly post op - it gets better once you get it out if your system, 2-3 weeks. I still miss it but it's not maddening - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
15. 21... but my arms, although pudgy, were never my problem area - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
16. Thanks! I hope it stays that way... I'd still like to lose another 50 lbs. I am starting to get loose skin on ny lower stomach... praying it eventually tightens up but I'm not very confident - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
17. Today was amazing - I went to a halloween store and after my friend demanded I do so, I tried on one of the costumes... and it actually fit! It fit well even! I've never in my life had the option to even try those on. It was a real "holy shit" moment and almost brought me to tears. This pic isn't of any of the costumes, just me today sporting my awesome zombie mask and the FABULOUS dress I bought today in size L!! HW: 276 SW: 263 Today: 190 - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
18. Go online and get - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
19. 1500mg of calcium daily, Iron daily, sublingual b12 daily. How do you not know this? - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
20. I'm 21 and had the gastric bypass 6/11/12 (I was 20) and just after 4 months I've lost 72lbs from my surgery weight of 263 (I'm 5'8") Yeah I'm starting to get loose skin on my lower stomach... praying it tightens back up though. Idk I still have at least another 50lbs to lose - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
