I am about 3 weeks post op (surgery was 10/3), i have never suffered from acne, but since the surgery my chin/face has broken out.... Its so strange because i completely follow my diet ( ie water, protein etc)... Has anyone else experienced this? I am 31 yrs old, im starting to feel like a teenager.... Grrrr... Any advice/help is appreciated... Have lost 20lbs since surgery.....

It is actually not strange at all - because you're purifying your body by eating the right foods and drinking LOTS of water - all of the crud and junk in your system is working it's way out through your pores. People who detox also have this side effect. My face got extra broken out (I already had acne to being with [21yrs old]) for about a month-or-so post-op a few weeks after I was out of the hospital. But don't fret - there's hope! I'm now 4.5 months out and my skin looks fabulous

I had the same problem. It gets better - I do have to strictly stick with my skin care regimen now though. It will get better ~

I had it too...from about months 1-3. It was horrible, but is better now:)

I have roseca and it was triple bad, it's starting to get better at 4 1/2 months out.

I have acne but the medication I got was making my skin extremely dry. I stoped it. Gonna see if I get something else that doesn't do that.
