  1. Good luck to you!! Will send a prayer on that day for fast healing.
  2. I have been "stalking" this website for awhile now. I too was banded in 08 and are now seeking a revision. The first year was great! Got to around 192 (down from 293) and had plastic surgery. After that, nothing was right. Terrible reflux and multiple fills/unfills later and 35 pounds later, i now have a slight dilitation. Elated that i could now move forward since dilitation is covered under my insurance, i received a bombshell!! Previous surgery was self pay through a "Blue Center of Distinction". I too have BC/BS Illinois. The kicker is that i have to change programs to my place of work (im a nurse) and the program is very new and minimal support. I have nothing nice to say about the band and now know i should have had the RNY. On ward i go! Just wanted to let you know i hear your grief. I am currently 210 and have worked my a$$ off to get back to here. Im notlooking for the easy way out, just a tool i can use. And the band isnt it!
