  1. Awesome! Happy for you :-)
  2. So during my preop phase I was alarmed to find I had shrunk 1 3/4 inches. I'm only 45 but I've had back problems for years. I measured in at 5'2" at a few preop appointments. In my younger years I was 5'3" and 3/4..my fiancé chalked it up to my bad posture but I knew it had a lot to do with my osteoarthritis in my back. But get this...I now measure 5'3"!!! I've had coworkers tell me I walk with much more confidence and "stand taller" now but I thought they were just using a figure of speech. It's true though! I thought this was weird and kind of cool so I just had to share! Another plus is it lowered my BMI!
  3. Love your smile! Good luck!!!!
  4. I got food poisoning (or so they figured) and ended up in the same boat as you. I was super dehydrated after an entire week of diarrhea! I spent the day in the ER but was not admitted. My arms were so bruised up it looked like I was in a car accident! People were shocked when they saw them. I hope they figure out what's going on and you feel better soon!
  5. Good luck! You're going to do great!
  6. Can you keep down protein shakes? You need some nutrition ASAP Vomiting is totally not the norm. You need to get to the surgeon and get to the bottom of this problem you're having. Worried about you :-(
  7. You'll be fine, the non- rev gods will take care of you mom! Freak out mode is totally normal :-)
  8. This sounds so good! I just have to run out and buy ricotta tomorrow and I'm going to give it a try. I even have a bag of trader joes turkey meatballs in my freezer!
  9. Wow, you look great. Happy to hear you're feeling great too!
  10. For the first couple of months I was ALWAYS cold. I was freezing at night and slept with two blankets. I don't seem to have that problem anymore though. Of course it's hot as heck here lately...
  11. Congrats! Feels wonderful, doesn't it?!?!?!!!
  12. Ps. It wouldn't hurt to call your doctor and ask them about it. That's what they're there for.
  13. I had the same pain about two weeks postop and the surgeons PA explained there was probably a large suture there that was attached to my muscle and as it was healing it was pulling on the muscle. To me it was like a tearing pain below my belly button. It was excruciating but ice helped a lot. It went away as the sutures dissolved.
  14. If you're on your preop diet the headaches are a sign you've thrown your body into ketosis. That's exactly what you want. It's a totally normal side effect. They will go away in a day or two. Tylenol should be ok, check with your doc. Caffeine withdraw wont help the situation much either. You'll get through it. It's tough but you can do it! Good luck!
  15. I did try the regular shirataki noodles. Not the ones with tofu. You are so correct. Rinse the heck out of them. I rinsed, boiled, rinsed again and sautéed them with some soy sauce, ginger and garlic. They were pretty good! The remind me of cellophane noodles. zero calories and zero carbs! Awesome!
  16. Just bought my first D cup in about 20 years. Down from a 40DD to a 38D. I miss the girls.
  17. Awww don't be scared. You will do great. Best of luck to all you ladies and try to get some rest. If you don't sleep, don't worry. You'll get lots of sleep tomorrow!
