Any Tips To Minimize Hair Loss?
I was wondering if someone can describe what the hair loss is like. is it an all over thinning or is it more like "male pattern baldness" that is mostly visible in the front? And one other question, Dont you think it would be awesome if you lost all the hair on the rest of your body and not your head? LOL

Calories/carbs?
I was told 600 to 800 a day and try to keep the sugar carbs under 5 sugar carbs per meal.

Tactless People And Their Stupid Comments.
Yesterday at work I had someone who works in the same building as me, not a co-worker of mine, tell me since I came back to work I look "almost normal now" what an a-hole. I had to go to the restroom and compose myself. Some people are so ignorant. They just can't comprehend that you are the same person you were before surgery.

Skin Firming Cream/lotions
I use bio oil on my face and neck. It's supposed to help sagging skin but I'm honestly not sure it helps for me and I've been using it for two years. I will say I hardly ever have breakouts and it's great for flakey skin.

Eating
I can eat 4 oz of some things, like cottage cheese. I can still only eat two oz of things like meat or other dense foods. I'm six weeks out. I'm worried it's too much.

Helpful Tools That Help You With Your Rny Routines?
I bought mine at a grocery store called Winco but just by coincidence today I saw the exact same one at CVS pharmacy in the aisle with the kitchen supplies. My guess is you can get them just about anywhere. Here's a picture

Feel Bad For All With Long Waiting Periods
From reading everyone's posts I have to say I really lucked out. I looked over my paperwork yesterday and my first appointment was on March 27th. I had my surgery April 30th. My bmi was 40.1 with no co-morbidities. I had insurance approval and a surgery date in less than two weeks. I have to admit it all happened so fast it was a little head spinning. There were days that I crammed in 3 appointments and the stress was unbelievable but I managed. I am honestly not bragging, I just feel truly blessed.

Back To Work Today
The pain the first few days was rough for me, but tolerable with pain meds. After the first week I only took meds one or two times at bedtime when it felt like I overdid it that day. I wish I could give more advise but it's been years since I had a desk job. I think I could have gone back after two weeks if I had a sit down job. I would say the most challenging thing that second week was lack of energy and figuring out eating/drinking.

Salads?
I've been craving them and raw spinach too but I'm afraid to try. If I remember correctly the nutritionist told me six months to a year for raw veggies.
