Well I have type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea

Had my surgery April 30 and my weight was 184 and I was wearing size 16/18 jeans now I weigh 151 and I am in a size 9 I can't remember the last time I was in a 9 I think maybe junior high I am so excited and happy!!!

I know what you guys mean I hate having to sit here and watch everyone else it all this good food when everyone cooks out and I can't have anything!!! :-(

@atcgoddess....I had a large lump on my left side and it hurt for about a month after my surgery but when I went to my post op appointment the doctor said that it would go away with time and that it was just scar tissue mine was large and hard and it even sunk in some and now I'm 8 weeks post op tommorw and the lump is gone and does not hurt anymore and it's not sunk in anymore!!...,.hope yours gets better too!

@annmarie well the one I had today was for after the surgery they give u this white chalky stuff to drink and they put this machine in front of your chest and it let's the doctor see the liquid going down when u swallow to make sure everything is suppose to go where it goes and u don't have ant leaks or anything Now the one u do before the surgery they put u to sleep and then they stick a camera down your throat to make sure u don't have any ulcers before surgery and trust me it was painless and easy u will be fine and good luck on your surgery when is the BIG DAY!!

@bbdoodle I think that might be my problem so I guess I just need to learn how to slow down and chew chew chew but that's easier said than done but that sounds alot better then throwing up lol

Well I had an upper GI done and the doctor says everything looks good so I'm thinking I might not be chewing my food well enough or I just had a stomach bug but I hope it gets better cause it's no fun throwing up!

@loosingitforme I think you are so right maybe my body is not ready or I might be eating too fast so I will eat slower and I'm just gonna stick to my broth for right now and see how things progress thanks so much for yalls input it has helped out alot!
