  1. Glad your feeling well. A good laugh will never hurt anyone. Lol.
  2. Congratulations to you. I wish you the best. This is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
  3. I'm doing great. I didn't have any kind of complications. Thank God. After my third week I'm on a full diet no restrictions. I'm down 36 pounds. I don't have any drinking or eating problems. My only problem is trying to get all of my Protein in. I've been doing a lot of chicken , tuna, split pea Soup and kashi hole grain Cereal. Then I try to make the rest of my protein up with a shake or two.
  4. With Water like the instructions say. I'm going to try them again. I think I might have added too much water.Any other suggestions are appreciated. I did buy some pure Protein shakes in frosty chocolate. They are 23 grams of protein. They are a little week but tolerable.
  5. The worst part is the wait once you get to the hospital. Once they put you out and you wake up you'll be on the road to recovery. I'll be praying for you.
  6. I bought the syntrex shakes in fuzzy navel I didn't like them.
  7. Glad your feeling much better. Don't get discouraged. I gained two pounds last week. It's probably because I'm on a regular diet now. Our bodies will adjust and we'll get back on track.
  8. I'm glad you guys talked and everything is going to work out.
  9. Wow you look completely different. Congratulations.
  10. I haven't checked to see the cost of the surgery. I also haven't paid anything out of pocket.
  11. Most of the time they take it out before you wake up. I couldn't tell you if I had one or not. Please don't cancel your surgery for something like this. If it is painful when they remove it. How long could the pain actually last
  12. Glad everything went well. Have a speedy recovery.
  13. Not a good week. Probably because I'm on a full diet now. Here goes: Last week 264 Today 5/18/12 267 Original weight 297 I'm a little disappointed but better luck next week.
  14. I just bought weight loss surgery cookbook for dummies. It very good. It has a lot of info plus the recipes.
  15. They also give you this contraption to exercise our lungs. At first your gonna think its rediculous because your not making any progress. But it really works. Also walk as much as you can. Good luck.
  16. Some days I'm dragging. Some days I have so much energy.
  17. Josee that's great. Those 11pounds will be gone before you know it.
  18. Wish I lived near Mami. I would support you and try to help you out. Lord knows you need a break. But as you know all of us here are cheering for you.
  19. That is great. My surgery was April 23rd and I'm down 36 pounds.
  20. I was a smoker at the time of my surgery. But prior to that I was told to quit. My surgeon said he knows it's hard to quit. So he said at least the day before surgery no smoking at all. The wonderful thing about this is I haven't had a cigarette since April 21st.
  21. I was pathetic too. I'm 3 weeks post op so I've just been walking. I'm up to a mile and a half in 30 minutes. I decided every week I'm going to push myself a little further. I'm down 36 pounds.
