  1. Thanks I'm going to try it.
  2. I lovr the split pea soup. It doesn't look creamy in the can but once you heat it up it's very creamy and very filling.
  3. Try the frozen yogurt. It's just like ice cream. I loooove ice cream too and this was the closest I could get to it.
  4. I've always wondered about this too but no one never knows the answer. I guess it's trial an error.
  5. I never was told to purée as longas it was soft and I chewed it very well. As of Monday I was 3 weeks post op. I'm not on any restrictions. I was just told when trying something new just take it slow and chew very well. I guess it's because I haven't had any issues with liquids or foods going down.
  6. Good luck. Monday will be here before you know it.
  7. Improving my health Be able to shop in a regular store Exercise without feeling like I'm going to pass out. I already started walking . I'm up to a mile nd a half in 30 minutes.
  8. I feel so bad for you. Your husband might think if you lose weight you might change. You'll be surprised how they think. Just because you don't have a 9 to 5 doesn't mean e shouldn't help out. You should challenge him to sty home one day with the kids. He probably wouldn't last an hour. It's sad you don't even want to leav your children with thier father. Well I wish you the bet on ths new journey. Seems like you always take care of everyone else now it's time to take care of you.
  9. Welcome aboard Tina. Wishing you the best on your new journey.
  10. Good luck tomorrow. I pray that everything goes well.
  11. I know. I have the keurig machine so I've been trying different brands. Lol.
  12. That is awesome. Congratulations.
  13. Hey anjela where are you. I hope everything is working out for you. Last time you posted you were so frustrated and not doing well. Please let us know how you are doing. Sending prayers our way.
  14. I don't even know what to tell you. I hope your taste buds start cooperating.
  15. I love ice cream so I've been having fat free no sugar added frozen yogurt.
  16. I was like that too. I'm only 3 weeks out. I'm not having that problem now. The only thing I'm having a problem with is coffee and I used o love coffee.
  17. Hi John I'm a little late but I'm doing fine. My surgery was on April 23rd. I had no complications from the surgery but I caught a terrible cold with a fever and all. My starting weight was 297. As of today I am 261.
  18. I think you will be fine. Just get back on track. Good luck on your surgery.
  19. You are not alone. I've been mean and angry for no reason. I thought it was pms but when I looked at the calendar it wasn't. I think it's getting better though.
  20. I remember those days. I also was allowed to have vegetables. Check with your doctor. Jut keep drinking something. It gets better.
