I am going for this for the possible diabetes cure. My cardiologist is very positive about this surgery and tells me it is the only cure we have for diabetes. Any comments from any preop type 2 diabetics on their postop cure successes would be very I am taking 100 to 150 units or more of insulin along with pills and still have an A1C of 8.2 and I know it is just a matter before the really bad things start to happen. My BMI is 41 along with sleep apnea, reflux, heart disease pace maker, hypertension, renal insufficiency, plus the burning feet and am hoping for some help from The surgery. Thanks
