  5. I was sleeved on Sept 26th. Food is starting to go down way easier and same with fluids. How is everyone else doing? I don't get as much calories or protein as I would like. I'm working on it. What is everyone eating??
  6. No popcorn. I don't think you can have that for awhile
  7. I like protein shakes to. It is my breakfast every day. Even my boys like them. I really liked Popsicles at this stage just for something to chew on. Refried beans with cheese. Soups, purée chili. Not spicy though. Heart burn is no fun. Good luck.
  8. I feel the same way. I love to have milk with my dinner. I still take one sip of water once and awhile after I eat.
  9. I found the boost to be good. There is 10 cal blueberry juice in the juice section. It is really good I didn't like the other flavors. Mio is also good.
  10. I was on the 26th. I find I can't eat a lot of food still. But I've been doing good other than that. 30lbs down. What is everyone eating? I've been eating cheese and deli meat. Crab and chicken.
  11. I just stuck to full liquids till I didn't have to chew so much. But I did have a small stuff once and awhile just for satisfaction.
  12. I would not eat this on the soft food stage. I would say 5 weeks till you ate this. JMO
  13. I found on the pre op that boost were the best drinks and help fill me up. After surgery make sure you get something good the help relive gas b/c that's the worst part I found. Walking really helps. Try not to lay around. Drinking slow an all day will help. Don't push it with introducing food you will get sick. Bread is a really bad one to try to soon. I've heard that from a few ladies I keep in contact with. Popsicles were my best friend for the first couple weeks. So much easier than drinking. Get good broth too. Good luck.
  14. I'm almost 5 weeks out and yes I feel the same way. I barley eat anything. I have to get most of my protein and calories through my smoothies. I find mash potato hard on my stomach.
  15. There is 4 meatballs in a six inch sandwich
  16. I can't seem to get that many calories in. I'm at 250-300. I'm doing good with water. I get around 6 cups a day. What is everyone eating?
  17. I make them with fruit tea. No sugar and super yummy. I just steep the tea and freeze it❤
  18. I really don't get many calories a day. I try to eat high protein foods. It's actually all I eat is high protein foods. How many calories is everyone else getting in a day??
  19. Yes. It is most likely gas too. I walk it off.
  20. Once you are post op the need to fuel your body with proper food helps. You need so much proteins and good stuff to make you feel good. You can't really fall of the wagon b/c you will pay for it. Just DO NOT have bad stuff in your house. You will find stuff that is less calories/sugar that are satisfying. Plus you don't feel hungry so you don't feel the need to snack. Good luck.
  21. It's so different for everyone. I saw someone are salad at 9 weeks. Guess I should call my surgeon.
  22. I don't see why not. I take tylonal when I have a headache.
  23. I'm almost 4 weeks out. I was just wondering when everyone started to be able to eat salad. I miss veggies. I'm not much of a cooked veggie eater I like them raw. TIA
