  1. I worked out and walked today felt a great sweat and smiled! Never thought I'd enjoy the workout! (p.s this is my first real workout in years, I'll probably be bed ridden tomorrow but It feels good now Ha )Great thread lady!!

  4. Made this for dinner Friday!! So yummy and filling! Sautéed Shrimp with Asparagus Tips 4 Servings 1 Tbsp olive oil 1 c raw asparagus tips(top 2 inches of each spear) 1 pound raw medium shrimp, peeled and deveined 2 Tbsp garlic, minced 1 tsp red pepper flakes(use less if you don't like spicy it's got a kick) 1 Tbsp lemon juice 2 Tbsp white wine 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp butter 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. When oil is hot, and asparagus tips and cook for about 4 minutes. Add the shrimp, garlic, pepper flakes, lemon juice, wine, and salt. Cover and cook for 3 minutes. Uncover and mix in butter. Remove from heat and mix in parsley. Calories 200 (from Fat 60), Fat 7g, Sat Fat 2g, Cholesterol 175mg, Sodium 320mg, Carbs 5g, Protein 24, Sugar 1g

I don't remember what my nut said about coffee....I'm sure it was something to the effect of either side (it's ok or it's not ok) Does anyone remember the reason why No coffee ever soda I get don't drink the stuff but at 7 wks out I felt the need for coffee and have been the last 2 days drinking a lite homemade pumpkin Starbucks coffee recipe I found here or on MFP. Only one cup and It's enough. I too am from WA and love me some coffee. Anyone know the reason. I guess I could call my nut tomorrow but wanna ask anyway

  11. Hi all I had my sleeve done at Virginia Mason Hospital with Dr Hunter outta Federal Way. I'm very pleased with my stay and his bedside manners and that of all his team!
  12. I was sleeved 8-21 and I eat a boiled egg as a snack because I don't get full off that sort of egg....but I do off a scrambled egg with cheese
  13. I just found Jimmy Dean Turkey sausage "patties and links" I was surprised to find them really good!!! Might be worth looking into!
  14. I agree CowgirlJane^^^^ Just try to get in as much fluids and protein as possible. You'll get to add more as you go it'll all fall into place I promise!!! I at 7 wks get 80-90 g protein about 700-800 cals. Good luck lady:)

  16. I'm 7 wks out and have none of my old cravings! Thank God! I'm prayn they don't come back either. I was a sweet eater and fast food hound I've thought about both when "head hunger" rears her nasty head but have tasted neither one. I just made zucchini brownies yesterday and have not ate one!! It's weird...
  17. This to shall pass!! The left side pain is totally normal! Mine seemed worse than most and I had the soreness for 4 weeks. Not pain but soreness after a week. I hafta say I took my meds I got nothing about swallowing thing for ya! Sorry Hope all get better soon!!

  19. I just bought a nutribullet and so far have only grinded up oats to flour with it for a recipe I baked today!! Plan on trying to make a pumpkin protein shake in the morning!!
  20. My insurance required me to do 3 months supervised diet and a sleep study test along with a few other things. I'd call insurance for sure. Good luck
  21. I've lost each of my 6 wks just started wk 7 today I've been losing between 5 and 3 pounds for the last 4 wks HW 278 2/13 Surgery Wt 249 8/21/13 CW 210 Congrats n your success that's amazing!!
