  1. Congratulations on such a great weight loss
  2. Maybe you should see someone if you feel it's anxiety related. I agree with teczin
  3. Someone said once not to eat until you're full...eat until you're no longer hungry. I'll always remember that.
  4. Well this might make you feel better or worst. Today starts my third week of waiting. I too heard people with my insurance say they knew in a week and two weeks and I'm going into my third week. I work so I have ways of getting my mind off of it. It's the worst part.
  5. There's an African American Sleevers group on this site. And I know it's been discussed there...just an fyi....Go to Community then Social Groups and you'll see it listed.
  6. Your surgeon should tell you what you should be eating. Surgeon's are different. You want to go by what yours tells you to do.
  7. I agree with Notime. It'll grow back
  8. Go and see your NUT if you have one. If your hospital has a support group attend that. There's a good book called "The Emotional First Aid Kid: A Practical Guide to Life After Bariatric Surgery" by Cynthia L. Alexander
  9. See what your surgeon says. I would think that they would give you pre surgery instructions.
  10. How about maybe starting a group instead of using a thread? Just my 2 cents
  11. That's so sweet. Makes me want a dog.
  12. Yes, there is no protein in the WW oatmeal and I don't think their steel cut.
  13. I do a meal replacement shake which has fiber and protein.
  14. Why don't you go back and see your NUT and let them work with you if you're struggling.
  15. I don't think that's the case. His other posts are "normal". Maybe having a bit of a problem.
  16. How about those small egg mixtures you put into muffin tins
  17. I'm so glad it came through for you. It'll be two weeks for me tomorrow and I'm about to lose it. Now I know how you feel. This has to be the worst part.
  18. That would be a slippery slope for me.
  19. Feel better and good luck
  20. I wouldn't lie but I also won't tell anyone if it's none of their business. I have told my manager I might (because I'm not approved yet) have to have surgery. I'm in HR and she's an HR manager so she knows not to ask for specifics. Lies tend to catch up with you. What if you lied about the surgery and down the road you actually had to have that same type of surgery for real. Would you lie about that surgery too?
  21. I'm pre op and I've gone to mine three times and love them. I can't wait for the next month so I can go to it. I'm actually not going to the one this evening because there will be a plastic surgeon there and since I'm not at that point I don't feel the need to go.
