This is kind of sick but after vomiting now you have less food do you go back and try to eat more need a brick over my head to know when to stop when you get past that point there is not going back pb or vomit

About 6 months out mine came out in blobs too for about four months it eventually stopped now it is the way it was at the time I asked my band doctor and he said he didn't know why seems funny everyone on this board almost have experienced it well dont worry

Has anyone reached one hundred pounds off in one year or is this unrealistic let me know

Can someone tell me why on every diet I have been on the list is long why do they all say no caffeine what does it have to do with weight loss and appetite please someone reply just because I love tea and my coffee.

I would like an opinion on this I told two people at work about my lap band surgery. Another girl at the same time got gastric bypass she told everyone I told the girls I told not to tell. My husband seen another girl from my work and told her I had the surgery that girl asked another girl that we are mutually close to at work is it true she said yes and she wants to keep it quiet. Now that I am losing weight people are asking how. why ,you know the drill. well apparently one of the girls told another girl and you get it rumors are rampant and I don't know how to react I don't want them to know it is none of their business but how do i dispell all the talk I am quite upset it is my business and my life and people should learn to keep their mouths shut please offer advice sorry for being so winded story is complicated thanks

This is another topic but my husband couldn't boil water I hate it when he comes to me and acts like a little child and asking what there is to eat and then complains that he doesn't like the way I cook he is constantly coming to me when we are out eating do you want some bread or want some soda he just doesn't get it and he never will he is skinny never had a weight problem he was not supportive when I was pre op post op or anything he came to me and said he realized he wasn't supportive but I did this for me and I didn't need his approval people don't change and you have to accept how he is

I did quit before surgery and for a month after but have resumed full force I love my coffee I have given up soda all together scared of stomach explosion from carbonation but I do still drink alot of coffee

How much weight are you suppose to lose in approx 6 months I am discouraged I wanted to lose 100 pounds in a year and I am six months and have lost 42 I don't know just frustrated have gotten like alot of fills not up to 3ccs but close I don't know just frustrated help let me know

I had mine moved it had flipped and it was too high under my ribs when I bent over I could feel it my doctor moved it down and over I didn't have general anesthesia I opted to have local and be deeply sedated you know what it going on but you can't feel the pain recovery wasn't bad at all nothing like actual band placement little sore but recovery is quick.

I think it is still hard to lose weight with the band I am six months out and just getting a mind set that I have to eat the right food and basically still quote unquote be on a diet anyone who thinks this is easy I think it is not its still alot of work just vending

the longest incision is the port site hard to know where it is all doctors put them at different places but it is always the longest one thats were the fill will be

Had the same thing I have had four fills and did'nt lose weight for three months very frustrated this last fill do have restriction am going for one more though it depends different for different people and where the band was placed and how much fat between the band everyone is so different I guess patience is the key it is so hard though

No numbing nearly painless unless however your port is flipped then 3 needless sticks ouch live and learn
