  1. Ask your doctor if you can use Gas-X strips.
  2. I have Aetna but not HCA. My approval came in 3 business days.
  3. I have Aetna and my policy has two options: 3 month or 6 month. The 3 month is more involved but that is the one I chose. I met with the nutritionist 3 times. I think it depends on what you did on the first visit.
  4. I wasn't nervous either... was READY!
  5. Today was the first day I could add full liquids. Nice!
  6. Take advantage of this time to learn everything you can!! It helped me.
  7. My surgeon said stay away from diuretics
  8. I used one gas-x strip because I thought maybe I had gas but never had any more problems. I feel very lucky.
  9. I put a tiny bit of cream in mine! But tomorrow I get to move to cream Soups. Bring them ON! lol

  15. I can only speak from my experience but I've had a very easy recovery so far once I got past day 2.
