  1. I'm sorry you are feeling so down. One of my bariatric team members told me that sleeve patients often get off to a slower start with weight loss whereas bypass patients lose faster in the very beginning. So maybe you are one who is going to be super slow at the start of your journey. Try to stay positive.
  2. Congrats!!! Why can't you take GasX?

  10. When is your next follow up with your surgeon? I would think he/she would give you the go ahead to exercise when you are ready. Discuss the acid issues then, too, or call.

  13. WOW!! Good for you! You should be super proud!!!
  14. My insurance required 3 month supervised program. I used that time to read everything I could on all the sleeve forums. I listened to people discuss different Protein powders/RTD and bought those that were most popular. I've copied recipes for each stage post op. I quit drinking with my meals. I find it so much harder to do when I'm at a restaurant. The 3 months has flown by. I now feel like I have a good "arsenal" waiting for me after surgery. lol I will be sleeved next week. Good luck on your journey! It sounds like you are making some great changes now. You will be glad you did.

  18. I was all prepared to wait 2-3 weeks for approval and it happened in 3 business days!! So you never know! Good luck!!
