Doctor's visit
I went to the cardiologist the other day for a 6 month follow-up. the doctor was amazed when I told him that I lost 50 lbs from Feb. and also off all my medication. He was very happy about this info. But he also wants to see me in 6 months, not to check out my heart but to see how much weight I can lose. I just waned to share this with everyone. This info kept a smile on my face the rest of the day.

Too Much protein
I went to see m doc the other day and brought blood work that was ordered by another doc. According to my blood work I had a high protein level. My doc told me to focus more on the whole picture, rather than concentrating just on the protein. I now have veggies and fruit with every meal. Just thought everone should know.

Need Tasty Liquid Protein
Isopure is fruity and not thick like the other protein drinks . It does leave a kinda film on your tongue.but at 40 gm of Protein in a bottle you can get over that.I needed to drink it cold, real cold. try the blue rasberry..I liked that one the best, you can get it at GNC for about $2.50 a bottle.

Before my fill I ate 2 chicken thighs broccoli and a salad for dinner with a ton of water now I am back on mushies for today then start reg food tomorrow. Like everyone else has said it is all personal as to how much is normal, listen to your body and it will tell you.

Return to work
I too am a nurse .I work in a doctors office ,so no real lifting is required. I took off a week I worked 12 hrs on Tuesday, had Surgery on Wednesday and was back to work the following Thursday. I took it slow and no real lifting or stretching. My co-workers helped out when asked. take as much time off as you can. I do recommend at least a week,My doc's office says 2 weeks.

Urine issue
IT does sound like you are dehydrated. Increase your water intake and you will notice that your urine will become lighter in color. DeLaria has a great idea to add a bit of juice or as my Dr. had told us use crystal light or any other low calorie beverage, if you cannot tolerate the water alone. I have noticed that I can drink more water at room emp than if it was ice cold. Try water at different temps and see if that helps.

Chocolate for dinner? Yep.
The other day some one brought iin 2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts and some young thin girl made homemade cherry cheese coffee rolls with creme cheese frosting yum... yuck ..Of course I had to have some as not to be rude to these people. Then came home and felt guilty so I had about 40 oz of water for dinner. Sounds like a balanced diet huh. We all take that wrong turn at the fork but eventually the road straightens out and we adjust . that life ,right ?????

odd clothing size/weight loss question for the chickies
I too wear scrubs for my job . I have lost 36 lbs so far and am still wearing the same clothes I am inbetween sizes. The current ones are very big but he size smalle is tight around my belly(the problem area) I have scrubs with tie back backs so they are fine and I went down a size in the tops. THe drawstring pants are good you can adjust them and the elastic waist ones can olt go so far in. Don't buy too many of anything right now. wear them big the tops cover the most baggy spots
