I had my sleeve surgery Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Along my journey to lose weight I obtained a personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  I have lost weight and maintained muscle since my surgery, and even put on more muscle than I already had.  The gym is my passion, and I want to show others no matter their size, or ability the gym can be fun.  I know for so many it is a very daunting, and overwhelming place.  You walk into this huge place with all these weights, and machines with no idea where to start, it can be very scary.  I just want to show others how much enjoyment they could really get from it!
