  1. Wow so happy to see all of you progressing as well. I hope in 4 months I'm still amazed about the weight and waist sizes I will hopefully drop. Good luck too all.
  2. Same for me arms and legs...
  3. Hey guys having good results I was wearing a size 44 before the sleeve and now I'm down to a 38 and I'm feeling awesome. How many pants have you dropped so far? I'm only 7 weeks out.
  4. You will be fine, and what your feeling is normal, after the surgery you will be fine..... Just don't think negative you will be out less than an hour after you wake up you will feel like crap but you will be happy. You got this . (:

I think you and the hubby may want to get him the surgery as well because his lifestyle is in need and if you both are on the same page I think things will get better. It is only natural for him to feel down during these good times after all his health is important as well. Not much you will be able to do for him but be supportive and listen when things get rough.
  6. Wow are you dealing with any anxiety issues concerning your lifestyle change? At 7 months out I would think by now you may be able to enjoy at least something you like. Hopefully this will improve but if it doesn't you will need to adjust to your new relationship with food. I hope you do improve and pray that you and your family will remain supportive during your time of need.
  7. If you tried to eat that burger I think you would get one to 2 bites maximum and be all mad that you wasted your money at this point.
  8. I eat smaller meals and I don't feel as if I'm going wild but I decided not to let myself get sucked into the food funeral saga. Food is not dead and I still eat what I want I just don't have a major pig out fest like before. This surgery is not the end of our favorites we just eat less and don't have the guilt of over eating in 1 setting like before. Just take it slow and you will be ok.
  9. Keep it up bro, I need to get my ass back in the gym to help build muscle starting to loose all this weight and loosing my muscle.
  10. I'm almost 8 weeks post op and I'm down 62 lbs, and it honestly just depends on your body. I have hit several stalls and they always seem to last about a week or 2 for me then I see a huge drop sometimes about 5 pounds. It just depends on how your body reacts to the surgery and your current intake of food and protein. Right now I can see a huge difference because my pants are down 4 sizes and my stomach has shrunk as well. As long as your eating right I think you will be ok and will see some new results soon. 31 LBS lost in a month is not bad by any means. Just be more patient with yourself and your body.
  11. I understand how you feel I'm down another pound this week NEEDED TO LOOSE 100 lbs to be at goal and I am at 63 pounds loss already just under 2 months... including pre op weight loss........
  12. Your not going to die, think positive have trust in your surgeon that he or she will do a good job. It will be over before you know it...
  13. Yes I have this problem as well, I come in from work and I feel like I have been standing in a cooler. My wife had the surgery but she seems to stay hot all the time now. She used to always be cold before the surgery we have now changed places.
  14. Did you drink a lot of caffeine before pre op diet started, maybe why you headaches. Your body is craving it.
  15. I felt like this during pre op and I just kept drinking fluids and finally I was able to regulate and felt normal. I had a lot of high anxiety during my pre op after a few days I was ok it was so hard to get going though. You have been on a pre op diet for a long time I'm sure its normal due to your body not getting the extra fluids from the food we eat at times. Are you feeling ok otherwise.
  16. Sad but his parents are clearly to blame by not doing what they were advised. This is messed up.
  17. My wake up call is when I noticed how hard it was to just do the basic things like walking for long periods and be out of breath, feeling like I couldn't look at my self in the mirror without feeling like I was just to big to be happy with myself. Every time I went to the doctor I was always getting on the scale and the numbers were getting worse every time I went. All my lab work was coming back with border line or diagnosed with this or that ,just couldn't take it any more.
  18. I forgot about these damn co pays.... lol
  19. Take it easy you will be ok, I always felt sick after I tried food before week 3 ....
  20. Yea if you don't get stuffed ,its just protein you should be fine. Liquids suck
  21. Kind of early but hey if it didn't hurt going down and tasted good I guess your ok. Just be careful eating so soon real food that is.
  22. I'm 7 weeks out and at 4 weeks I was swallowing whole pills with no problems, you should be good.
  23. I'm like that as well I don't eat much and staying active burns off what you eat. I take Phillips but sometimes I don't go. Becareful on the amount of over the counter laxatives you take because it will work when you at least expect it, then you will really get it,lol.... I only go about 1 or 2 times a week sometimes just 1. Less in means less out.
  24. Ok My weigh in 253 lbs This Thursday lost 2 pounds.
  25. This is your life, and you decide on what quality of lifestyle that you need or want to have. You just have to ensure that you are trusting yourself,so make a decision and stick with it. If you doubt yourself all the time then you will never be able to change.
