You look Awesome! Where are you in Michigan?

I had surgery almost three months ago. I still get hungry often but I am full with much less than before. I have lost 32 pounds since surgery 11/19/13. I have lost 75 pounds overall.

So you never met the doctor who performed your surgery? I would be beside myself! Definitely complain!

Add some exercise at home. My house is tiny, less than 900 sq feet and I walk in the living room. I do four steps forward forward four steps back for thirty minutes or more. Do you have weights or resistance bands at home? Do you have planet fitness near your home it is really cheap and has everything you need. I really think increasing your activity will help. I know it is the only thing that helps me. I have lost 83 pounds since the fourth of July 2013 and most of it was exercising at home.

My son is 8 and this is the first time in his life he can reach all the way around me! He was so excited ! So am I.

I am really hoping for that at he end especially for my really sad boobies!

This is probably going to seem sooooooooo trivial to everyone else, but I had a great NSV last night.

John and I have never been cuddly when we sleep. #1 I would get so hot that I couldn't stand having him right up on me #2 He's a tummy sleeper with his elbows spread out over the bed, I sleep on my side with a body pillow.

Anyways, last night, he pulls me in super close to his chest, my back is touching his chest, and he wraps his arms around me, like completely around me (that's never happened before), and he nuzzled his head next to my neck and was asleep in a matter of minutes. I laid there just smiling like a goofy kid at a candy store, and I could feel his heart beating on my back. I laid there and actually felt his heart rate slow down as he began to drift off into a deep sleep. It felt so amazing to be that close, and not be hot and feel gross about myself. He had one arm under my head, wrap it up over me and the other arm wrapped around me the other side. I don't think I've ever realized how many "little" things we didn't do because of my weight.

He then started snoring (which he never did before), and I had to move a little because he was right next to my ear. But for the first time in 3.5 years, I literally fell asleep in my love's arms.

My cycle has been unpredictable post op too but I am only 3 months out so I am not too worried right now.

I will be honest I feel exactly like what the counselor said. I thought I would be so happy to get to solids and it was such a let down. I feel like cooking is such a waste. I can't enjoy eating just a few bites it fills my stomach but it is not satisfying otherwise. I am still trying to adjust to a new normal 3 months out.

Weird huh~ We are not as big as we used to be! I am so proud of you for doing this!

It is so weird how different we all are. I am only 2 1/2 months out and I can easily eat 1000 calories a day. But I can work it off in the gym too!

I'm just starting this whole process. I've called my insurance company and they say I have to go thru 6 months supervised diet. They gave me a list of approved Dr.'s I can have the surgery with. My insurance covers up to 80% and I will have to pay the surgeons fees.
do I just call one of the Dr.'s and set up an appointment with them?
Would I just use their dietician for my supervised diet?
What if I have a hernia or need my gallbladder removed, will the surgeons fees then be paid by insurance? Anyone have any luck with that or ideas?

I wanted to add that I fighting for every damn pound this is not the easy way at all! I am working my ass off! I have lost 10 inches off my waist since 7/4/13!
