  1. For me I started at 362 before surgery and years ago was actually at 418. My "goal" was 230. I talked to my PCP about it when I got to 230 and he basically said I am still overweight and that I should let my body decide what weight I should be at. I am now at 219, 9 months out and have no intentions right now in worrying about it. I will just do as my Dr. said and let my body decide when to stop.
  2. 90% of the time I make a breakfast taco for breakfast. Consisting of a Tortilla, one scrambled egg, shredded cheese, and either sausage or bacon. Other times it is grapenuts cereal or oatmeal.
  3. Have patience and keep at it. You say you may not be getting all of your water in so focus on that. You ARE losing weight so that is something to be proud of. Trust me the weight will come off. For some it is just faster than others.
  4. My before and so far. I actually need to take a more recent pic as I have lost since this one.
  5. How is everyone doing? I am now at 221 which is 141 down since surgery on April 3rd!
  6. Dr Nick did my surgery and I was very pleased with him and his staff! I would highly recommend them.
  7. You look amazing!! Congrats on your success!!!
  8. I am 6'3" so pretty close to your height. I have pics in my gallery. I am currently at 226.
  9. Got any suggestions??
  10. I'm trying to do the same thing. I bought a treadmill and a Mountain bike recently so I can try to really hit the exercise thing hard!
  11. I'm craving Italian!!!
  12. Yep guilty here on that too!! Haha
  13. Isn't the shopping one crazy? I walk into a store I have never been able to buy from and I absolutely can not leave without buying something....
  14. So does anyone have any good counter addictions they would like to share? We all know a good portion of us have been or are addicted to food. So what new addictions have you picked up? Do you shop to much now? Do you Drink to much now? Are you addicted to Bariatric Pal? Maybe you have an addiction to some hot looking guy or girl now? How about addicted to stalking peoples profiles? Addiction to anything high in Protein? Maybe exercise? Water? The thought of showing off your new body in some exotic place like Oregon? HA HA Sex now that you have anew body and mind? Looking at yourself in the mirror? Touching your new body? Did you pick up smoking? I personally have picked up a few of these habits post sleeve. So what about YOU? I am sure this list can get long so lets see what addictions you have!!
  15. I started mine a few days early as well and that should NOT be a regret. That in my mind is a victory! THAT means your ready and you get IT.
  16. First thank you! Actually the sleeve is one of the only things that I was decisive on. Other parts of life for me I can be indecisive about though. I have used this screen name for years on other boards so I just keep it around I guess.
  17. Well I woke up this morning and lost 2 more pounds. So I guess my body has helped me decide. I am going for 218 now. Thanks everyone for the kind words!
  18. It really would be cool to see... Thank you!
