Hello everyone
Then I would say you are ready. The sleeve can be a wonderful thing. I was like you in that I would lose weight and fast but would always just gain it back. For me the sleeve has allowed me to lose more than I ever did on my own as well as maintain the lose. It is a bumpy road non the less. Good luck to you and welcome to the forum!

Hello everyone
From a BMI perspective I would say yes. Just know that the sleeve is not a miracle in that you still have to work to lose the weight. So the real question is are you a candidate from the perspective of are YOU ready to put in the work.

8 Months and 9 Days GOAL!
Now down 205 total. 149 since surgery. So as you can see a considerable slow down. I am wondering where it will stop...

At what point did you start counting your weight loss?
For the purposes of sleeve surgery related weight loss I use the number I weighed at the 2 weeks pre-op. 2 weeks before surgery I started the pre surgery diet and was 362. In reality though at one point in my life I was 418 at my highest weight but that was like 3 years before I decided to get surgery.

Does anybody drink alcohol?
I think all of the usual side effects apply. You know the ones like passing out in random places. Or waking up in bed with some random person. You could end up in a fight or possibly even worse in jail. Of course these all depend on what type of party we are looking at here. On a serious note the only issue I have had is a very low tolerance. Which honestly is not a big deal. It makes me a really cheap date..

Dating
You could always try the online thing. Or maybe join some local groups that interest you. For example if you like to run there are tons of running groups where you meet lots of new folks. There are many groups for many different interests out there. Just have to be comfortable with putting yourself out there more and it will happen! Good luck to you!

Guy's any regrets?
I have become more active after losing the weight. I can tell you without a doubt I have been able to be active all day and never feel any ill effects because of it. For example yesterday I had the day off so I went on an 8 plus mile trail ride on my mountain bike, went home and started doing yard work for about 2 hours, then unloaded a truck bed full of dirt. That was 2 and half hours of shoveling the using a wheel barrel to haul it from one side of the house to the next. So yes you can still be active. My only regret is not doing this sooner...

Drinking while eating
I just don't think it works that way. I am just over 10 months out and I have drank while I eat the entire time. For example I am eating granola with greek yogurt while drinking coffee as I type this. If it just washed the food away by doing so I am pretty sure I would not be alive right now. It is OK to cheat some as long as you can handle it. For some it is a slippery slope to doing it every day.

Almost six months out, weight loss has stopped!
One thing I can see that could possibly be an issue. Your lunch was 8 oz of rice and turkey. First thing I am a little over 10 months out and I in no way can eat 8 oz of anything let alone something with rice. Try sticking to the Protein first then veggies then fruits then carbs. This may help. When I make a meal that "may" contain some carbs like rice I will have 3 maybe 4 ounces of protein a few veggies and a couple table spoons of rice or Pasta. I rarely eat rice or pasta whether its brown or not. Maybe try eating ALL of the turkey first and if you are still actually hungry and not head hungry then eat some rice. I am like you I eat pizza once in a while. I eat Cookies sometimes and hell I even drink wine or liquor a couple times a week so I DO indulge. That being said 90% of the time I am good and stick to the protein first rule. This will fill you up faster by doing this. Just my thoughts.

MEEEE Time! What is your "Me Time" ?
Trail riding on my mountain bike is my favorite me time thing to do! I had not owned a bike in over 10 years but after losing the weight I decided I needed something for me to do with this energy!
