Do you set short term goals?
1. I would like to start toning and shaping now. 2. I know I am being greedy, but I want that last 15 lbs GONE! 3. Again greedy, but I want to be a size 9 or solid 10 4. Wearing a bikini by the time the LBT cruise comes around next June!

One-derland! Need new shorts!
Good job!! I did most of my "losing weight sizes" off of ebay. Cheaper and you can resell them. Although I had kept most of my "growing" sizes so I was able to just shrink the closet as needed.

Psychological Help??
Ya know, I am not sure if it was lap band related or because of my previous career. I just find that emotional dumping on a professional helps. Sometimes it is good to just go "blahhhhhhhhhhhh" all over their office floor and leave it there. Makes me feel better. And it is much better than dumping on my friends and family. Although I know they would listen if I needed them too. I just need to talk and get it out sometimes. No advice needed, I just need to tell someone about it. And not penting up the stress means I eat less and don't hoard the food around me! I also value my massage therapist. Worth every penny in my mind!

Action: Ummm, don't know. Action is what you make it? I am a married woman so I am only looking to get my flirt on. Flights: Flights are a dime a dozen if you are near a major airport. I wouldn't let that be your deciding factor. But you have until the end of September to decide. Just let us know as soon as possible so we can reserve a cabin for you.

To all teachers.... need some help.
It's a small town. They already know all there is to know about me. I am only giving out work info. But they all know where I live. Going to set up an email system for weekly plans and upcoming due dates. I am creating a student contract. But to be honest, I haven't figured out how I am going to discipline. Can I beat them at this age? (just kidding) My idea of discipline is a tazer. LOL

To all teachers.... need some help.
Thanks everyone.... I think I have a letter done... wanna read it and tell me what you think? I took out all my info and stuff for posting here... Dear Students and Families, Welcome to your 6th grade class! I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know you, and I’m looking forward to a happy and productive school year. I am thrilled to become a part of the (my school) School team! A little about me: I was a police officer and involved in law enforcement for the past 12 years. During the past three years, I have done substituting for the (old school) in (city), Arizona while working on my second BA in Education at (my college). I graduated from (my university) with honors in 2002. My husband is a teacher at (his school) teaching Physical Science as well as coaching football and girls softball. I have a (age) son entering (enter grade) grade. I also have a 1 ½ year old German Shepherd named (his name). Curriculum areas we will focus on will be designed by the Arizona Education Standards and will review material as well as introduce new concepts and tasks associated with grade level. My homework policy is: If a child is on excused absence they may make up their missing assignments by collecting the work from the Absent Folder in class. They will have one week to turn in missing assignments. After that, no late work will be accepted. Unexcused absences have no late work. Late Work: Due dates of assignments and projects will not be accepted late if there is no excused absence from class. Written assignments must be legible. If it is not done in a legible fashion, I will return it to the student and they will have a chance to correct the problem once. My grading policy: Each student begins the year with an A / 100%. It is up to the student to maintain that grade. The grading is done on a standard scale of 100-90 A, 80-89.9 B, 70-79.9 C, 60-69.9 D, 59.9 and below is considered Failing. I expect a lot from the students but I also provide them with the tools, knowledge and independence to achieve their goals. Sixth grade is designed to prepare a student to enter into the junior high with good foundations of skills and a higher independence. I will help the students to build the classroom based on respect, equality, consistency, fairness, independence and self discipline. I believe in accountability for actions and having a good foundation of ethics and good moral character. Organization will be key to a successful year. Upcoming school events you should be aware of include: Please mark those dates on your calendar. Studies show that parental involvement in a child’s education is one of the strongest indicators of student achievement. We hope you will make it a priority this year to attend as many school-sponsored events as possible. If you have any questions or concerns or if you would like to visit our classroom, schedule a conference, or volunteer to help out, you can contact me at (my work number). The best times to reach me are 6:30am – 8am and 3pm – 5pm, Mon-Fri. If I am unavailable I will return your call within 24 hours. I am also available via E-mail at (my work email) Once again, WELCOME!! Let’s work together to make this the best year ever! Sincerely, Jenna --------

Inamed ... How many fills?
I have had 2 fills. First fill worked great 6 weeks (May 05) after surgery. Second fill was just a "topper" after swelling went down more (Sept 05) and is still working great.

Lapbandtalk Cruise 2007!!! Official Sign Up And News
Sorry Argon. Our prices are only for this group and the cut off date is mid September. We are already filling up fast. Why not just block the date off in the calendar, and tell everything else it can wait?!?!?! That is what I am doing. I usually don't plan so far ahead but the pricing is so great for a June cruise, I am this time!! I have no idea whether you can get a cabin or not closer to the date but it wouldn't be with the group rate and you wouldn't be linked to us for dinner tables. Feeling lucky? Come on... live a little and LET'S GO ON A CRUISE!!! WOOOOT WOOOOT

To all teachers.... need some help.
Well, as many of you know I resigned from being a police officer after 6 years and I am going to be teaching 6th grade. I have already made business cards for parents regarding my contact info as well as important school information for them to have handy. I would like to draft an introduction letter for "open house" night. But I really don't know what to say in it. Does anyone have a rockin' intro letter for parents and will share with me???? Hugs! And btw, if you ARE a 6th grade teacher and have lesson plans that you are itching to share.... send them my way!!

We still have cabins left and we are still placing roomies together. We are trying to match them as best we can. Just PM me! You don't have to book so far in advance, you just have to book that far in advance if you want THAT rate Yes the price is for the ENTIRE week long cruise. The price includes taxes and port charges. The only additional would be airfare, transfers and insurance if you want it.

Still need some information from a few people. If you need time, just PM the information and how much time you need. Those that KNOW they are going can get all set up. Those that want to reserve but wait a few weeks for sure, just PM me the info so I can get your name on it at least. You aren't locked into going until you decide for sure.

Sometimes, (read as: a lot of times), it is cheaper to find your own airfare and hunt down the times of the flights than to go through the cruise line for your air. Especially if you are coming from Florida. www.southwest.com has great prices. Remember: you are flying into Houston Hobby (hou) NOT Intercontinental (IAH) which is also in Houston. Now, if you are not wanting to hassle with it, and willing to pay a few more dollars to have it done for you and to have transfers included, then it is good to go with the cruise. If you find your own air, then it is still available to buy transfers to/from the ship. Depends on if you want to work on your own airline arrangements or not. Remember..... all flights should arrive BEFORE 1pm to make sure you are at the ship before cruising. And on the leave date, make sure your flights are AFTER 10am to give you enough time to get off the ship and to the airport. The trip from the ship to the airport is about 45 minutes.
